George was a radio/TV host in my home town in the 80s. I always liked that guy. He was funny even when he wasnt trying to be.

It's extra funny, since "Genki" is Japanese for "healthy". And to quote The Simpsons, "I don't think a healthy man can make that kind of smell".
I was taught in year 1 japanese in high school that genki meant being full of energy.
