@@codeshadows2646 I can agree with that. I still think he was a good person though. We all make mistakes. While his was a really big one, that will forever taint his legacy, it was still just a series of bad choices made by an otherwise good person.
That's not why they signed Stanton to that deal. The old owners knew they were selling the team and wanted to lock him up beforehand knowing they wouldn't have to pay the bill. That's why his contract is backloaded like crazy. Classic Loria.

@@ccsportsworld6312 thats not possible, remember, this is mlb not nba or nfl. prospects are very raw. when you draft them, it may say "80 overall" but that doesn't mean they are actually 80 overall. its on a 20-80 sclae with 80 meaning they are a hihgh overall relative to the rest of the class

It’s different in a way though, Ozuna harmed another person, meanwhile Fernandez knowingly put himself at risk and it unfortunately ended up killing him obviously. I know there where others on the boat but they knew their would be drugs and alcohol involved likely considering they knew who they were hanging out with.

The whole Ozuna thing as Braves fan hurts man. Though I’ll say he’s not a great guy but his wife isn’t a shining example of a human being either his kids are getting absolutely hosed in terms of having a good life. Also Jose’s death knowing the circumstances kinda sucks tbh. And yeah only downside of my road to the show is ozuna still being on the Braves. I’ve traded him or outright released him in most modes

So Ozuna beat his wife in May. By the grace of God got off clean. Then in August arrested again for DUI. I was so upset when he left the Cardinals, but seems the Cardinals were lucky he left. I give him the benefit of the doubt for what he did to his wife…idk what she did for him to go that far. If she was beating on him, he just gave her some schooling in equality. That’s probably not he case and he’s a piece of crap. That’s more of my thoughts now after him getting the DUI. Bro is a menace to society. It’s honestly sad to see. Hope he can grow up and get through his problems.
