Mahn! This is awesome! Love the African music, as always! This route looks epic! I love how green & beautiful it is in the TZ side. Didn't expect the BMW Rover would be the culprit this time, hahaha.... hope they managed to fix it. Awesome video, once again Alberto. HAPPY 2024.
Happy New Year to you bro! Appreciate your comments and yes, the music does set the mood for the trip and Tanzania! The BMW Rover in 2023 had a rough year...we went on several trips where it always broke down. Nonetheless it drove back the next day with the mechanics. Tanzania is pleasantly green...we are definitely going back this year
Wow! Bumped into this Chanel...my alignment brought me here and am loving it looking forward to joining you soon ..just got a 86 rangie a month ago .. looking for a fam to overland and couldn't be happier to bump into you guys
Amazing! Welcome to the family. Please whatsapp me on +254714442917 and we can connect further. Our next trips is to Sagana next weekend...timely for you
Thanks man! I enjoy digging the archives to look for music from before the 2000 era and of each country/region where we are travelling. If you check our Uganda Expedition video part 3, I play old school music from the country
Hi Frank, Thanks for the support. Our next major trip is in August. However we often times have impromptu trips, will be happy to have you join the convoy
Great Vid bro as always. And a very interesting route you chose this time. Am curious to know at what point did you cross over back into kenya to connect to Magadi? What are the coordinates coz it surely does not exist on any map i know....😅😅😅
Thanks bro, glad you enjoyed watching this one too. The coordinates are -2.197575, 36.1605 The route we used from Engare Sare was not on any new soft copy or hard copy map at all!
Can I ask A question please answer me...how reliable are these cars I would like to do overland experience but I'm afraid of Range Rover because of there reputation...but wewe utaniambia ukweli.... experience Iko aje?
Great question bro. So Land Rovers, and Range Rovers lend them selves as unique overland vehicles, extremely capable, comfortable and filled with character. Owning one requires up-to-date servicing and driving them with care, unlike Toyotas and others, then you will enjoy many adventures with it. As you can see from my channel videos, many of our trips are graced with old and new Landy's of all models. And each owner takes pride in them. I encourage you to get a Range Rover, the classic model will be a great start as they are simpler and cheaper to maintain, and parts are all available in Kenya.
Oh yes! Land Rovers will force you to become mechanically knowledgeable😅 We love them for that...not trip is ever straight forward...that thrill of the unexpected and unknown is what we love most about them😂
@@Mraiji254 both are great vehicles... if on a budget then a Disco 1 presents a stronger proposition. Go for the 300Tdi engine, tho if not well maintained its a pain. The V8 is actually the best engine if you can stretch your fuel budget. 200Tdi are older and ideal but spares are rare nowadays.
Well done Alberto, great trip. Loved watching it.
Thank you for watching! Do share the content for others to enjoy too
@@AlbertotheExplorer254 will do. May see you again in person sometime. I sent you a Whatsapp
Watching from Malawi. Interesting video

Oh yes, the Gelai mountains are simply magnificent...I actually was drawn more to Gelai than the famous Ol Donyo Lengai
Epic experience. Such really help me unwind from everything. Do one to Icipe in Kajiado, you'll go through Magadi.
It certainly is a refreshing thing!
We've been to Icipe about 3 years ago, it was thrilling and can be revisited soon!

Yes we do, for Land Rover owners

Why can't you just use a new machine to avoid this disappointment
