Calgary Transit 2012 New Flyer XN40 - 8202

This is a ride on Calgary Transit 8202 - a 2012-built New Flyer XN40 equipped with a Cummins Westport ISL-G engine and Allison B400R transmission. In this video, 8202 is operating a route 43 "McKnight" from Chinook station. We ride the entire length of the route to McKnight/Westwinds station, taking approximately 90 minutes!

Is this originally delivered in the naked paint scheme in 2012

It was delivered in plain white in 2013, with a sapling that grew into a full tree over three years. Last year this bus was wrapped in the standard Calgary Transit livery - albeit slightly differently from the XD40s.

How come you never film the full route

Because in this case, the video would be at least 75 minutes long. I do try and at least record the important/interesting parts of the route. Where the turns are, meeting with other buses, and the start/end.
