wow...that is super cool! i mean come on, you've even got the "slide to open" sign on the door of the r68. then the r142, with the longer window than an r142a; an r160, with the pot-like handle under the window, and even those two nodules in the recessed area below the lights; and then the r179. just amazing...i love this! really, really nice job
Dang bro, these are EXTRAORDINARY! They look like the actual subway cars! You gotta make a "how to" video on these, these would be such great additions to my MTA collection!
Hey Manhattankid10 - The New Yorker Railfan :) I have made a part 2 of this video on my channel with a new train I have made, if you are interested >th-cam.com/video/LxResKB29Lo/w-d-xo.html
You make them out of cardboard and some glue or tape then color the color the train model in and put the IRT/BMT/IND roll sign. that’s how you make the,
Golden State Warriors RULE!!!!!!!!!! I already fixed the trains that did not look right. I made the r68 more even. you can see that on the r68 roll sign update video. I made the r142 more even on the bottom of the face because the bottom was too long, and the r160 and r179 I'm remaking ;)
I did for the r179 side where the doors are, i will do a preview on it maybe today or tomorrow, but i'm not finished with it because i'm making the r179 into a whole train, and i'm making the doors slide open and close ;) I did not really use tin foil, i used Aluminium tape, its silver like tin foil
The reason i used Elmer's glue was because i wanted the paper permanent on it ;) Other wise if you want to take it off, I would recommend using tape ;)
