      @@michaelevans7097 Exact, you dont hire a coach to change to a system that the players dont fit. A coach adapts to the players and the club. This players are not that bad but they look bad by this system. Its a pity EtH with Ruud did not get the time. They were unlucky in a couple of games and then the pressure started, Good management backs and keep cool.what ever pressure from the outside is coming.

  • @SpotlessLeopard
    @SpotlessLeopard 4 วันที่ผ่านมา +12

    We can all see the players are not trying.
    Put another way, they're effectively trying to lose.
    We have to ask why.
    I'm not making accusations here, but look at the way Martinez watched the ball go in against Nottingham Forest.
    Inexplicable.
    Onana has conceded from corners when it was harder to concede than to save the ball.
    Players make wildly inaccurate passes in the final third, breaking attacks down, and recently, more than one has hit the ball as far over the crossbar as they possibly could.
    You have to wonder, is somebody telling them to throw games?
    If so, why?
    If Ratcliffe and Glazer wanted Manchester United to be part of some European Superleague, wouldn't it be an easier extraction if the club was detached from the Premier League?
    That would be the incentive to throw games - to be relegated.
    Again, I'm not saying any of this is fact, because I don't know.
    But if a Superleague was in the pipeline, they'd want to charge higher ticket prices to see United v Juventus for instance, than United v Newcastle.
    So the recent rises would be them getting their ducks in a row.
    Just theories, but you have to wonder exactly why he bought over a quarter of the club, only to make ridiculous and nonsensical decisions constantly.
    It's one to think about.

    • @ManUtdTheReligion
      @ManUtdTheReligion  3 วันที่ผ่านมา

      Interesting thoughts and observations. I always like hearing a different perspective. On the ticket prices the big alarm bell for me is that in the USA ticket prices are much much higher than what we pay in the UK. And Americans now own more premier league clubs than anyone else. 11 of the 20 clubs are now controlled or part owned by Americans. That’s why I’m constantly talking about these subjects. JG

    INEOS: ''We want best in class''. What a joke! I never wanted INEOS in the first place. My only focus at the time, was to get the Glazers out. FULL SALE ONLY! Not 25 or 28 percent or whatever it is. The year so far under INEOS so called leadership has been absolutely shocking. It is well needed to trim the wage bill, but for god sake. Do it the right way.... Not by sacking staff at United who have been there for long time and have low wage.(People who actually care about the club) Not by removing the charity fund (40k/year?) SERIOUSLY.
    INEOS do your job and get the overpaid players that don't give a shit OUT from the club. Some of them are even sabotaging. You can see it clearly.
    The club is also in MASSIVE debt and the stadium is falling apart. INEOS knew about all this before buying a stake in Manchester United.
    What is even gonna happen to Old Trafford? Where is the communication?
    Also i really feel bad for Rúben Amorim. He really has been thrown under the bus. I really hope Man United fans don't turn on this manager, we all know that the manager is not the problem.

    I found this monologue quite moving actually. Had a sudden pang of the joy of being squashed through the turnstiles at Easter Road by my grandad and his brothers. Midweek matches only ( no pub after). Jimmy reminding the little gang he stood with that there was a lassie with him, it tempered the language for a bit. Freezing. Bovril at half time. Grotty old terraces. It was the most “ different” place I’d ever been and nothing like watching a match on the telly, although life was kind of in black and white back then.
    In other words it reminded me of just how working class our game was, how rooted in history. Hibs was started by a priest in St Pats church to give the Irish immigrant lads in the Cowgate something to own. My “ English” team was United due to our parish priest hailing from Gorton and steeping us in United glory. We were devastated when they went down!

    Amorim’s dilemma is that he is on a hiding to nothing. This team is capable of winning games but so are Southampton. This squad cannot be turned into a top 6 club no matter what tactics Amorim adopts but he is going to be blamed by many. Ratcliffe is not a football man, he's a money man. We are not football clubs anymore we are businesses that are fronted by a football team. Criticising other clubs (who are just the same) is pointless, overseas owners are overseas owners. The way we elevate foreign players and critique English players is media fed, and works. Hearing Neville constantly berating the Arab owners of CITY them taking a nice pay packet from the Qatar World Cup, sums it up.Football being a working class fans game sadly has gone and isn't coming back. A super league of Europes finest ( apparently) is inevitable because that's where the money is, on a 40" screen, and a monthly bank transfer.

    It didn’t take any investigation into Ratcliffe to realise that he’s a ruthless successful businessman,but all his sporting ventures have resulted in failure or mediocrity at best,that he’s not and never has been a Lifelong United supporter,he’s Chelsea or wherever he sees an opportunity for another Vanity project,he is the biggest mistake since the Glazers took over,and it takes a SPECIAL kind of w⚓️ to make the Glazers look OK.Brailsford his little playground bully stooge,Ike some sycophantic lap dog is also a fool just a lucky fool,he got very lucky that he happened to be involved in British Cycling right at the time that a group of generationally talented British Cyclists came to their peak,ALL of United’s owners have absolutely no idea what Supporting a football team is about,we Worship United,they worship only Money,if it gets them out I’d take a double relegation.
