Hydraulic pumps are put together with extremely high tolerances in clean environments so no foreign dirt can get in.
These guys take it apart and put it back together with a hammer and a screw driver.
While laying in mud.
Not sure what the one guy was doing inspecting these pieces. Does he even know what he’s looking for?
This pump is definitely going fail completely from all the dirt that they put inside the internals.
Looks like it still leaked in the end especially when I’d didn’t look like it leaked in the beginning.
You'd be surprised, but they last. They wash them all with fresh gasoline, that's more than enough to dissolve and wash away all the contaminants. Is it optimal? No. But it will last a few more years of use, and that's all that matters.
Yeah he knows what he's looking for, he's just checking if if had enough dirt to make it all wear in properly 🥴

Где то тут было видос, про ремонт ТНВД, там принцип такой же был )
Что отремонтировали заменили так и непонятно, заработал ли при этом экскаватор так же неясно, в общем сняли отмыли, пересобрали и в путь, на пару дней.
Разобрали, типа помыли с песком. И собрали... Кудесники епт)
Видите, как нас в сервисах разводят, типа надо расходники менять, заменять изношенные детали, когда можно было просто помыть и все.

Apart from the pump being dismantled, cleaned and re-assembled, nothing new has been replaced, not even an o- ring. So what was the problem with it?

There where not enough dirt particles inside so they put some in now performance is raised
I would of put some loctite on probably all the nuts and bolts
Not to be precise but .. yes they did replace one o-ring .. just sayin
А разбирали зачем? Ни одной детали не поменяли (кроме уплотнений), даже НШ не проверили. Все как было изношено, так и собрали. Чисто помыть? Или на сдают нормы на мытьё на время :)

И да, в процессе сборки подшлифовывали с грязью.

это был обучающий процесс рядом пацан сидел и наблюдал спецы ему показывали а потом доверили мойку в волшебной жидкости
No torque wrenches were harmed in the making of this video.
Proper torque was obtained using a "knockometer".
They don't need a torque wrench, they have plenty of workers of different weight to pull on various lever lenght. That's why there are children around, just for the small bolts and the big guys take care of the big ones! Clever... no ??...
Don't need no torque wrench, just tighten it until it strips and back a 1/4 turn

Tengo la certeza de que esa bomba ya la habían reparado, de ahí el color de los basculantes no pintados de rojo. Puede que hiciera relativamente poco de esa reparación y por algún mal funcionamiento la hayan desmontado, revisado y vuelto a montar. La limpieza si es algo que deberían cuidar y si quieren piezas nuevas que me llamen ;)

Take it apart, roll it around in the mud and then put back together. All you need is a couple of old pallets nailed together, and you can elevate you work station 6 inches out of the mud. Cleaning stuff then standing it back on the ground, there must be a plank of wood about.
That needs intelligence that is lacking here :-) did you see any new part that would justify the work? Nope

Suggestion Cut some of the large rags into 35cm-by-35cm pieces. You will make them more usable and use fewer rags.

Love how it was disassembled before cleaning. But I do this type work daily and could not imagine wearing a skirt or sandals, so I guess I admire them for that.
You should try working in a skirt, its very liberating, but make sure you have panties on, you wouldn't want the chaps in the workshop seeing your bits when you bend over
But for me it is a renovation to be cleaned and new sealants, and where the replacement of pistons and valves will not work properly anyway
For me also , only new seal and gaskets

so not one air tool was used and that one red allen bolt didn't get tighen and glad there was a new bearing, but and why wasn't the bolts cleaned and or it sandblasted or repainted and the service wasn't milled or smooth or that yellow wheel didn't get cleaned or replace the rollers that were worn or show if it even worked when it got back in :\

I wonder if they ever have to go back and look at the video to put something back together properly.
These pumps are so difficult to rebuild properly. Tolerances are very important or it will not perform. Installation of the seals exactly correct is mandatory. In the US the money for this rebuild would be $4-5 thousand. A total rip off. I’ve seen these being rebuilt in less than 4 hours.

I suppose you gotta do what you gotta do ,with the limited infrastructure. BUT... If I had done this, I would end up having to buy the owner a new machine out of my pocket on these practices... just saying...
