@@PlumFabulousFoods I get my compost at a local landfill then shovel it out of my truck onto my screen box on top of a wheel barrow. Then climb out of my truck shake the box then push it into my raised bed garden with loose pea gravel walkways! I'm glad I only do it every couple of years! 😊
Great work on this and thank you for sharing your next iteration of this! I made my own version from your spider model and it has been working great for me, just manually with no shaker motor. Are there any companies that manufacture a shaker motor in the USA? I bought an inexpensive motor online and it burnt up within 30 seconds. I am guessing it could not handle the electronics from the variable speed controller. (my controller is the same as yours). Where did you get your shaker motor?

@@mitchfountain6523 Theres an offset counterweight attached to the motor shaft to make it vibrate. Pretty simple setup actually. I love the design. You could actually just take a standard pulley and drill holes in it on one side and keep experimenting with the amount of pulley material you take off on one side to get the vibration just right.
You could add a little chicken Manue to the stuff that did break down. I use chicken manuer that's when I had my big garden I grew sunflowers from 14 feet clear to 16 feet and heads on them was around 16 inches a cross the flower. I had a lot of hot peppers 🌶 and bell peppers 🌶 tomatoes 🍅 like wouldn't believe. Right now I've got a small garden and isn't growing as good as my old garden I don't have enough sun shine is the problem. I'm working some other things to get it going good like my old garden soon.
We use chicken manure too but our 30 birds don't make enough for us. Those sounds like some amazing crops! I'm sure you'll get your new garden up to speed. Gardens always get better with time, good luck!
I’m going to combine this with a compost system (set this on a rail so it can be rolled over 1 of 3 compost beds) and use it to screen and compost the horse bedding I use for my cats litter boxes.

i think the wetter compost would prob sift just fine, just cant add a whole bucket at a time lol!
That's a nice setup I might use that idea. I have four dogs, I actually compost there are feces. Again great idea.
I was thinking use a solar panel connected to an aquarium refresher and keeping water outside agitated, this is epic!

So how is that electric motor hooked up. To me it looks like a motor bolted 🔩 to a piece of wood 🪵 I'm hoping you can share this info.

How does the motor hook-up to the shaker? Is there a belt? How does the motor make the shaker actually work? This is a horrible presentation.

You bolt the motor to the frame and the vibration transfers and shakes the mesh screen. The springs isolate the vibration from the base frame.
