“The composer didn’t need to go this hard” only works when it’s something like Pictionary or Silver Surfer for the NES. Ninjago is a beloved show that has been airing for nearly a decade. The composers should be expected to put a bunch of effort into the music, especially the show's main theme.
Getting the confirmation that all three of these melodies are part of the main theme makes me very happy. Trying to narrow down what all of them represent has been a nightmare, and I had a feeling they were all parts of a whole.

I'm not sure it's really budget, but moreso due to the UE switch, I think LEGO has a deal with Epic or something since this happened around the same time as LEGO Fortnite. Even then 11-15 focused on smoother animation over lighting and detail.

This is my favorite show and song. I love the song so much that I decided to learn it on piano. Guess what? It took me almost 2 hours to learn just a 1-minute 55-second song. I am really good at piano, but my music sir is better than me at piano, and it also took him almost 2 hours to find out the notes. This song is really hard and I do not recommend it for beginners.
