    I grew up in Livermore and love living there in 70s. I miss the little town vibe. I live now in Vegas

    New to the area and just did this walk for the first time yesterday. 😊 I love it so much, can’t wait to explore all the businesses in more detail!

    Downtown Livermore is probably the most underrated downtown in the Bay Area, nightlife is fun. most the people you’ll meet while out having drinks are soild. farmers markets on Thursday night and Sunday are good times. I bought 3 months prior to covid before prices took off

      @@LivingintheTriValley no my sonny boy had to be there for his job (TOPCON) and I followed him from home in Belgium. So I checked out that town and it is very nice. He told me for going out out he preferred Plaesanton. But for me it looks very nice. We Europeans do not understand that Americans have to make their towns pretty themselves. So great job. Housing is not cheap but the scenery at the vineyards is very beautiful. Commercial buildings are also very nice. Modern commercial buildings are cool. Like your place. Nice and clean America....HERE I COME!

    Looks like a different world compared to the 90's. Most of downtown is being leveled with the high rise invasion creeping in. Just a damn shame, really. The high cost of living probably drove a lot of undesirables out of there, which was a problem back in the day. I didn't care to walk around Livermore after dark in the 90's and early 2000's when I visited a longtime childhood friend who moved out there from Pleasanton in the early 90's. It's probably quite different now though.

    Dublin has no downtown though

      @LivingintheTriValley  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Dublin is attempting to make a downtown but no it does not have a traditional historical downtown like Livermore, Pleasanton or Danville do

    Livermore , ca is just plain ol regular suburb. No diversity , over priced, desert. . Any town in the Bay Area that has B.A.R.T systems passing through is A sleeping gehetto town. What i mean is that Livermore can be very peaceful & calm for several weeks or days . Then whamm a huge crime wave sweeps across the burb out of nowhere. … robberies, property crimes, shootings , terrible stuff…. And then the next day people forget and don’t do crap about it u know they start to open up their “farmer markets “ like okay potatoes onions ima farmer increasing traffic congestion with my huge big tables barricading the entire street “down town “..

      Livermore has plenty of Latinx and Asians, but not many Blacks as most in this county want to live in exciting Oakland. Livermore has a low crime rate for the Bay area, but probably not as low as rural areas. Livermore also has the world's most powerful super commuter not operated by the company or government that built it and Livermore has the world most powerful laser that recreates the sun every month or two. Livermore is one of three cities in the world that has an element on the Periodic Table named after it.

      @@mrbaab5932 Livermore is nice , much better than where I used to live which was Stockton. I always wished and prayed to move to Livermore , but at least I'm in Antioch which is 18 minutes away by just taking Vasco road. I like to come here especially to Del Valke park and also downtown.

      I was raised in Livermore in the early 70's. I'm Mexican, my neighbors were of every race. And the people were good. My parents couldn't have picked a better place to raise me. I'm so dark people call me black man. You have the wrong impression of Livermore. It was a beautiful place to live . With beautiful kind helpful people.
