    The author does like to from scratch, th-cam.com/users/postUgkxbnOKZBE4evMO5V2vroHeCjq6d_MV6wJO shaping and trimming wood from large blocks into fine finished products. As another reviewer mentioned, most projects require a lot of high-dollar equipment that most of us don’t have the room or budget for. But, knowing how to do these things, even if we won’t be able to practise the full stack project, is still great.

    I like the little “hidden” Bourbon storage. Though, may I suggest bracing and padding? That trailer will see up to a 9.0 earthquake as you drive down the road, (higher if it’s a gravel road or I-55 in Missouri), and I don’t want to see you lose that wonderful amber goodness. Also, the cleanup is murder, (ask me how I know!).

    • @reallunacy
      @reallunacy ปีที่แล้ว +8

      I suspect he won't actually use that space as bourbon storage. The high proof will eat through the corks over time. Wine is typically low enough proof which is why it is stored on it's side.
      In response to the altitude change that is a big deal. When I drove tractor trailers certain loads had specific routes I had to take to avoid elevation changes. Bags of chips were the worst offenders.

    Hi Jason. Everything looks great. I think you are going to need a lot more ventilation for your inverter charger. That Victron Multiplus is a fantastic unit (I have one), and it puts off a lot of heat when charging or Inverting. I ended up adding a 12 Volt DC cooling fan with an air inlet hole. I added a thermostat to the fan so it would come on and off as needed. Good luck finishing out your Airstream.

    Hey there! Fellow whiskey lover here! I've learned a lot from your videos and I really appreciate your delivery. I just thought I'd mention after seeing this and your coffee table (bourbon table) build that it's best not to store spirits on their side. With wine, you want to keep the cork wet for a good seal for long-term storage, but the higher alcohol percentage in whiskey and other spirits can eat away at the cork and make it fall apart.

I don't set the rags on top, but instead tuck just enough inside the lid to hold the rag, leaving most of the rag to hang freely outside the container until the rags don't smell any more. Hi Jason. Rags with linseed oil only self combust when they are scrunched up. Linseed oil reacts with oxygen and when the rag is scrunched up the reaction draws air through the rag and that creates heat making self combustion possible. If you let your rags dry unfolded you're safe.

    Loving the build vids! I alwas throw my oily rags in my fire pit, than after they are dry and when it's trash pickup day I put them in a bag for the trash guys. (or, if its not to windy I just light them)

    You should put out a video on the dangers of different rags and oils and the possibility of spontaneous combustion!! 🥸😏

    I always take my oil soaked rags from oil changes and such and submerge them in gallon Ziploc bags with water and I also try to mash most of the air out of the bag before tossing them. I know it’s a lot different since you use more rags than I but I know they also sell metal trash bins for combustible rags as well. That may help
