I still have Denver in 6 or 7, people easily forget about the champs because they got blinded by Antman flashiness. I was slightly worried after the first two games but I kept saying, if anyone can bounce back from these losses it's the Nuggets
@@Kermit_T_FrogI hope you're talking about the wolves. Refs beeb on nuggets side since game 1. This last game was terrible. Nuggets got every call and no call when timberwolves couldn't move without getting a foul or attack without getting a foul called for em..
Nuggets will win if they play good and they will lose if they play bad. They can do it, but they are still 1-2. They win series if they play good defense, Wolves are not a team with the best offense. Their smart play and faster pace got them around Wolves defense and they managed to play efficiently. They removed burden from Murry to carry the ball at all times, and he is more involved into creating looks for others as well. - Referees blew the whistle for what felt like every possession of the second quarter. But it's only because both teams played with a lot of intensity -- Denver desperate to widen their lead and Minnesota to get some game-altering momentum going. - Murray was very aggressive in the middle of the game and made tough shots. Big difference from last two games. - Ant had some good plays but like he said in the postgame press he really didn't come with a lot of energy. - Jokic struggled against Naz Reid's defense and spent a lot of time outside of the paint, but in the second half found ways to get down low and score. His jumpshot fell better in the second half as well.
Nuggets solved the defense by everyone providing Assists to each other, And letting AG play point. If Den stays with that same defensive energy and gets a 15+ lead, Min most likely won't recover. They don't have the offensive fire power
you want a simple explanation?.. its Gordon!.. Malone place gordon outside to clear the interior defense, then he will shoot 3 if the defender is not near at him..
The NBA changed the rules in order to stop the Nuggets. They were just too good on offense. Can't quite figure out why fans like the mud wrestling, but for some reason they have tired of shooting and ball movement. They LIKE "physicality" on offense. So, it is not just too much scoring.
@@theroyalmediator2658 It has been widely reported that during the regular season that officials have been directed to allow more physicality on defense. Now that the playoffs are here, they have taken it to another level. The prime target is Denver.
Real basketball is being played. Players have to work to get to get to the line now. This is the physicality that's been missing. The past decade has made the pro game a near non-contact sport. Nothing dirty or overt about the defense either, just physical defense vs physical offense.
For you kids who think 90s basketball was slow.. what you're seeing in the T-Wolves, the way they locked down Denver, that is what 90s basketball was like.. this is why it was much harder to score in a lot of games back then.
Denver scored 117 points even though they played ,' garbage time" bench players last 4-5 min. I am not 100% sure Gobert is better than Jokic, Towns better than Gordon, or Edwards better than Murray. In any event, if Denver returns the favor and beat Minnesota again at their home, I do not think Denver will allow to be mugged again like they were in the past.
Thank you for giving Coach Brendan Malone his credit! People don’t realize that Coach Michael Malone as an assistant coach was credited by Steph and Draymond for GSW’s defense and helping them become a winning team as well! This is historically documented but never mentioned, not to mention that Coach Finch and his lead assistant coach came from DENVER as well! 🔥⚒️🔥

1. They noticed TWolves always switch big on big and got tons of free buckets 2. Set better screens 3. Played faster 4. Played much better defense lead by The Joker 5. Murray's back and focused on basketball instead of the refs
