The construction method and I believe the materials are similar to kayaks, main difference is the kayaks aren't foam filled to keep the weight down. You can always fill a kayak with foam yourself, but you will probably regret it.
I'm not a seller, I'm a owner of a plastic PTE (polyethylene) kayak and about to buy a PTE boat, the plastic is uv protected and stabilized, I own a kayak that is more than 4 years old and with a lot of use with no problem at all, not even colour fading, but you can increase the UV protection by aplying UV protection wax. Maintenence needed is just like any other boat, wash it after use and if you keep it outside cover it. Another advantage is that you can repair it yourself, if you scratch or cut the PTE, you can use a hotgun and PTE rods to weld or smooth it, there are youtube vídeos teaching how to do those repairs. No osmose, no floats to be repaired or replaced, no special and toxic resins to repair, yep it is that simple and easy to have one PTE boat or kayak. These boats are not a novelty they have been in production in the northern european countries for decades, check the norwegian company pionerboat.com, recently they became more attractive because of all the advantages over fiberglass and metal boats, and to the fact that they are 100% recyclable.
Give me a full top transom, and a long leg motor, that makes me a happy camper. Just when I get on the water, I like the water to be further from inside the boat, the better. Just my quirks, and I’ve had water trying to get in the boat, didn’t like it!
I hope they have them here in the US, for what I need it's perfect
polycraft boats is in the USA if you still need something like this
You know boston whaler has been doing this since the beginning of time

Beautiful the perfect boat.
FYI there is a 4200 (14 Feet) center console with a 50 HP Merc 4 stroke is listed in Australia for around 22,000 ASU (17,000 USD) to give you an idea.
Are these available in the United States and if so where ?
I would like to see this into a super kayak

You did not cut it in half with a motor on it. Will it sink if you do?
Is there an optional floor?

this an't the titanic, you could blow this boat to pieces and the pieces will all float
How does the polyethylene hull hold up to the sun's U.V. rays?
