I had a moment like this 5:13 when it came to the game Gauntlet Dark Legacy. Used to play it when I was a kid on my cousin’s ps1 or 2. Then I had a dream about playing it and I had to find it. Took me hours of trying to find it but I eventually did and felt exactly like Poke did. :)
The most obscure game I have ever played was some really old mystery noir police game that was really story driven and point and click. It was a PC game that for some reason my Grandpa had. I remember looking at the CD thinking it was going to be dope. After the install that took forever because it was like 3 or 4 CD's I uninstalled it because it was point and click and just played FATE instead haha.
i wish i could have what poke had, there was a roblox game i played like 10 years ago where you could fly planes and jump from helicopters and you could chose from 3 military branches to dive down and fight zombies in a city and save people. it was a roblox game ahead of its time and now its impossible to look for it because lots of old roblox games were nuked. glad poke could find his nostalgia dream game
i think the most obscure game i can recall playing was 'Voice of Pripyat' on facebook games. It was this weird unity game where you played as a soldier fighting other soldiers in pripyat and it was SUPER janky and clearly rushed, but it was so bad it was unironically good and fun. All the animations were wacky and it was kinda predatory with its micro-transactions but it was so oddly addicting. It only had 2 or 3 maps but they were so fucking cool...sometimes a mutated wolf would spawn and your team would have to fight it off, on top of your enemies, and it was such a neat little game...RIP to an unheard-of legend.

since u guys helped poke , i hope u can help me too , so there was this game , a shooter , and in the start its a cutscene , someguy in a yard get shots down by some ppl , then behind a bunch of pillars his teammates appear shooting the bad guys , and a medic would then help him , as for the gameplay i remember that it sometimes was hostage and some other times bomb defusing ... i used to call it VIP at the time but i don't know if it's related.
