Thanks for the video. I go left to the Samm River trail and stay on it until NE 145th and then go right to get to the Eastrail. No car traffic all the way. If you stay on the Samm River trail to Redmond, you can get on the 520 trail there. I had not gone the way you did on this video.
Oh, the memories! I used to live on campus and bike to Kenmore and back twice a week for exercise. The trail looks the same. Thanks. BTW, you may want to try the left at Bothell next time. The paved trail takes you on the east side of the slough, through Woodinville, all the way to Redmond. I don't know the connection from there to the SR522 trail, but it shouldn't be too hard.
Thank you!! Yeah, this was my first time doing this route and most of the trails on it, so I'll try the left trail-split next time 😁 And I'd love to bike around Redmond too, it seems like there's some lovely spaces there to enjoy, AND they have Light Rail operating there, too!

Why should bike riders be able to slow down traffic by riding in the middle of the lane as though they are a vehicle? Then, whenever it serves your purpose, you hop on the sidewalk and interfere with pedestrians. Arrogant!
Bicycle is not a 4000lbs death machine. Remember, many municipalities allow cyclists to run stop signs and red lights. But I bet you didn't know that. He also does it safely every time. He never crosses it into path of other vehicles or pedestrians.

Have a safe Happy Memorial holiday Salty. Thank you for these bike riding videos.
Thank YOU for watching and I wish you the best of holiday weekends!! 🎉
Beautiful trails. I’ve never seen them in my nearly 30 years here.
I think the Eastrail trail has only been open for a year or two!
Get on yer bike and ride! 😜

How's the weather out there in Seattle so far? Any plans for the holiday?
It's been a lovely long weekend here! A bit of rain yesterday morning, but otherwise a fantastic temperature and perfectly enjoyable 😊
good to know now the eastside segments are gravel. thanks for this.
I too was taken by surprise by this, but my tiny 26C tires rode through the whole thing perfectly fine!
I luv these vids And they actually have a sign that says Speed Limit 15 MPH on trails?
2:43:31 yes its one of the bridge tender spots.
That's what I thought, it just looks funny at first glance
The truck at the beginning revving and zoom zooming was making me really nervous
Same!! That was close to being an unpleasant early end to my journey 😵💫
Hey Salty how you been doing lately? Happy Memorial day to you.
And your going across the 520 bridge

Oh hush, I'd never navigated those BIKE paths before, which is obviously different than driving a car in those places 😂

Situational awareness.
Get off the road stop telling people what to do and stop being a karen
In every single one of ur vids you just blow threw stops sign and get mad at cars when u dont even respect the laws.
