I’ve been really pushing myself at work lately trying to solve other people’s problems and I am just completely drained. I’ve always loved being helpful and taking the burden off others but you’re right, it gets to a point where I’m like ok so what else makes me happy besides making others happy? There’s got to be more than this right?
I don’t ask for much. I’m not a nickels and dimes kind of girl when it comes to earning money. I’m not asking for a sudden shot to the top or a breakthrough moment that’ll change my life and let me make millions off my passion. Wow. I went in to this not wanting it to resonate, honestly. I feel so jumbled and anxious about my life right now I didn’t want more input to scramble me up. But this reading gave me a pat on the head and a push forward. It reaffirmed I AM on the right path and I just need to believe in it, believe in MYSELF like I used to, and be the best I’ve always known I could be. It’s all going to be okay.
Context: Big breakup in September. 2nd love of mine, taught me a lot and it ended beautifully but healed bitter. Queue me getting my goal job on New Year’s Eve. Queue me having a huge life change with health. I start my new job on Tuesday, five days from now. Today was filled with anxiety because this job is based off of commission (mainly, base pay isn’t enough to live) and if I want, I could make six figures easily. Or I can fail and be on the street. But if I don’t break the cycle and hustle, if I stay hidden and lazy like how I have been for two years, I’m going to fail. I’ve muted myself thinking that’s what my company wants and now with this new opportunity they want the exact opposite. Now the words they used negatively in the past are reformed to build me up. It’s a strange feeling and I’m so overwhelming cautious of this all. I’m also scared.
I’m scared because I know this is the beginning of the rest of my life. EVERYTHING with astrology has been screaming CAREER AND LOVE, apparently I will find one in the other. I’ve used multiple apps, multiple you tubers, multiple books, multiple tarot and everything is saying the same thing. This is it, now I have to TAKE it and not apologize. Believe in myself. It’s just really intimidating because I feel like I watered myself down for so long. Sink or swim and sinking isn’t an option!
On a side note too, I’ve definitely felt the whale. Lately I’ve realized songs stuck in my head actually relate to the events around me. I can wake up with a song in my head I hadn’t thought about it a decade and have it surprise lot for perfectly. I have dreams of weird mundane things like a box and a big white bag delivered to my door, and so it happens. I have dreams of a specific person I never talk to texting me, and now he’s my boss.
All together I’m scared because I feel the energy. I feel like it’s all going to be okay, I’m going to get what I’ve worked for for YEARS AND YEARS my entire young adult life. But damn that terrifies me, because it’s been a blessed struggle since I was 13. Will life really give me time to BE? Let’s see.

Pile 1 resonated the most. The concept of being selfish is also misunderstood, within myself as well. I think there's a balance between doing what makes you feel good and addressing the root issues that is causing chaos within yourself. I'm going to go on a rant here... I've been trying super hard to disconnect my energy from a person who sort of left my life... I'm trying to regain balance, to accept that out paths have separated and to view him as someone I love dearly and that will be in my life only in an abstract, platonic way.
