More of she doesn't ask anything. Endless it's begging to be a vampire. She puts herself in danger all the time. She acts, never thinks at all. No brain cells inside, all assumptions and mistakes.
"How the **** was I supposed to know that, Edward? No one tells me anything!" This made me laugh, but honestly, that was one thing that always bothered me. They would make all these plans to keep her safe, but not tell her and then get irritated when she would, rightfully, get pissed off!
I still remember in the book how they all basically fucked off not telling her anything after her birthday so she ripped out the radio they had installed in her truck because she didnt want a reminder of them if they was just gonna leave her and then the first thing they did once she had to basically hunt them all tf down was go "Wait why did you rip out the radio?!" I have no idea why that entire part of the book lives rent-free in my head but it does
@Saxonygal Yeah she even mentions "It in a trash bag" and how she destroyed her nails ripping it out because apparently she did with her bare hands. I still found it hilarious how they wanted to upgrade her truck so badly, and she did everything possible to deny them fixing it up for her and the one thing they was able to sneak upgrade in her car she just straightup ripped out to spite them.

I dunno, maybe she feels more like a depressed 20-somrthing than a teenager. But I found her very relatable. Plus, the scene in Twilight where she researches vampires and has a very saucy nightmare about being a victorian woman being feasted on by a victorian Edward is so good. That's a good way to portray a sexual awakening. Plus, with movie Bella it feels like she has more reasons to become a vampire than "I want to be with you forever". She wants the power that comes from it and the liberation, and self-confidence. And I love that.

My favorite aspect of the first book is how awkward Bella comes across to everyone, meanwhile her inner monolog is giving dry sass and a "bitch I read" vibe and she's super frustrated by Edward who's all smirky and dramatic. To be completely honest, this part where Edward has to convince her to put down the rock and then convince himself that Bella’s not afraid of him was one of my FAVOURITE parts of Eclipse. The movie was like, meh, cool, he bandages her up and they move on, but in the books it’s a PERFECT hurt/comfort moment 🫡
I remember when she managed to scape from town to visit Jacoband spent the whole day with him, knowing pretty well Edward was just in the border line furious with her and almost broke the deal between the Cullens and the wolves. 😂 The moment she saw him racing towards her but he had to stop at the border and she laughed because she won. Another thing that bugged me in the books (i forgot if the movies even mentioned it) was the id of the werewolf's dad (I forgot the character's name but his mother worked at a store). It wasn't the most important thing (and irl isn't a big deal) but it never got resolved, and I would've preferred Jacob exploring that to avoid the pregnancy stuff/ out of boredom than him imprinting on a literal baby.
Actually tho, jacob n his pack are not werewolves but are shape-shifters, also called quileute wolves. In th twilight's universe th real werewolves, commonly called 'children of the moon', are another species of monsters
@Gradestar10yeah aren’t the werewolves in the books their venom can kill a vampire it was why Cassius was so afraid of them and hunted them down to basically extinction if I recall I only read breaking dawn a couple months ago.

that’s what I thought too!! I was so surprised when I was reading that section of the book to write this video script and it’s her preparatory gasp that distracted Victoria, I had always remembered it as her cutting her hand! In retrospect I guess it makes more sense that she didn’t because it says Edward gave an exasperated sigh in the moment, which would have been a weird response to Bella cutting herself 😂 imagine Bella bleeding out and Edward is just like wow again?? 🤣🤣

She fell and cut her hand so she was bleeding and Bella put blood on the leaves and stuff along the path to make the trial more tempting for them. Then Edward patched up her hand. So she did bleed in Eclipse but not in that part.

Honestly, Seth's relationship with the Cullens was very fun to read. Seth became the best of buds to Edward, Emmett, and Jasper.

Honestly it's been long enough I hope they remake it soon. I'd happy with it going the multiple-episodes-on-a-streaming-platform route even.

that’s what I thought too!! I was so surprised when I was reading that section of the book to write this video script and it’s her preparatory gasp that distracted Victoria, I had always remembered it as her cutting her hand! In retrospect I guess it makes more sense that she didn’t because it says Edward gave an exasperated sigh in the moment, which would have been a weird response to Bella cutting herself 😂 imagine Bella bleeding out and Edward is just like wow again?? 🤣🤣

But at least Bella's intent was way smarter than what the third wife did. At least she was going to give herself a non-fatal wound while the third wife went straight to the stomach

@@magicbymikaila She cut her hand in the lead up to this. When they where leaving the trial for the newborns. She fell and cut her hand so she was bleeding and Bella put blood on the leaves and stuff along the path to make the trial more tempting for them. Then Edward patched up her hand. So she did bleed in Eclipse but not in that part.
