The sword is also on his arm cause he can regenerate. He doesn’t have a sheath so he just stabs it into his arm. And the thing in his head is basically to keep himself from remembering his old self, or something like that. I haven’t read the manga in a while so I can’t remember.
When it comes to solo leveling, I think there’s a good chance we might get figures for it. I just think they’re gonna wait until season three for when the main character gets his iconic look with the white T-shirt and black hoodie he doesn’t have iconic look

He is very reckless and confident in fights due to his regeneration ability but can be very smart and tactical to the point he has found interesting ways to fight with his regeneration ability he severs parts of his body and fires them like bullets which he calls parts bullets. The sword he has is something that he got from a guy he fought from the organization he later joins with called the union hence where the suit comes from, the sword is also unbreakable and since andy took it from the guy he was fighting he doesn't have a sheath for it so he just stabs it in his arm.
