Frequent patches, and every balance patch has a huge list of unit changes: increases/ decreases in health, damage, attack rate, speed, and they even changed turning radius for some faster units so they don't fly off the map so often. Also changed where units can be placed, so they don't get stuck or fall through the map.

In the patch notes it said they made the reload time shorter so now it fires faster. idk about the health, probably a result of stuff hitting it less often.
Painters got nerfed? I don't notice anything different about them, and also they aren't even really powerful. They're only really good in a situation where you have the same amount of points as the opponent and swarm them.

Admittedly the lines are quite blurry in TABS but that still doesn't excuse constantly putting your infantry directly in front of your ranged units and wondering why they die before reaching the enemy.
Whenever I watch one of Tom's videos I have to pause like ten times to then look up the references, I swear the editor teaches me more about memes than even my memelord brother.
I can't wait to see what manner of TOM foolery he'll get up to with all these new units! There are even 4 new hidden units, and they're bonkers. I am undeservedly proud of that lame tomfoolery quip.

@@alanfish91 You can find both on the Tribal Sandbox Map. The raptor skull is on the altar and the rider+raptor skull is in a cave. They're pretty fun and swarm up enemies real nicely.
OMG the beserkers leaping onto the enemy pirate ship was so epic! It was like straight from a movie! Similar to the way pirates would swing from ropes onto a ship then engage in fierce fighting, exactly how it looked with the beserkers. Amazing. Every one of Tom's TABS vids just makes me crave more as soon as they finish because they're so fricking entertaining.

Honestly this pirate update is by far the best thing I think they've ever added to the game. Just from an aesthetic view point alone, the map and models are amazing! Totally not biased or anything.....

Hey Tom, now that theirs a nice variety of factions in the game the next time you play HORSE you have to play with "dodge ball picking" rules. How it works before a game of HORSE one of you picks a faction, then the other until their are no more factions then fight to the death with the factions you chose. Only one off the table is no secret faction
there was a background hafling that just suplexed a barrel guy into the water atound the 3 minute mark, and just, casually walks out of the water alive.
With those 'poons, now all they need is sharks, bee shooters and emporer Palpetine and this will be TATTTS, "Totally Accurate Trouble in Terrorist Town Simulator"

Yeah, before it felt kind of awful. Even a mammoth felt like a better investment.

It seems like this faction's been built around killing lots of clumped up cheap units, which is great because the game was kind of lacking that.
It also gives the Vikings something to fight against effectively other than the Renaissance. Fast attack units are my favorite for a reason.
