Again, another wonderful tour of history that I'm going to check out. We're so lucky to have you document this for us. Migwetch.

Thanks John. This one was particularly fun since it encompasses such a well known area. You will enjoy parts 2 and 3 as well!

Fantastic video, so well done! Thanks very much for sharing this portage route, and offering a glimpse into the river in her glory days before Philemon Wright.

You guys are great, and I love the graphics showing the locations. There was a French language multi series TV show that was produced about 15 plus years ago prior to all this construction that had volunteer Voyageurs re-trace the canoe routes from Lachine to Fort William, and it clearly depicts the dangers of the portage around the Chaudiere falls. I also did not realize how many men lost their lives on the Hull slides. Very interesting. Thank you

Thanks. Yeah, when they show the Prince of Wales going down the Govt Slide, it looks pretty safe. The Hull Slide certainly was not! Rick H.

Great video! I’ve tried to trace these sites myself. Maybe you could do the little stone bridge on the southeast side of Lebreton? Keep the vids coming! It would be great to see you team up with a local Elder!
