The extra damage the other eggscalibur guy from the first game was because he was touching more stars efficiently on the weapon. Rearrange the foods and you would've done more damage I think.

yup, i concur. Touching all of the 8 stars individually with foods really make a massive boost

You can have two eggscaliburs buffing the same food item for even crazier speed.

11:05 could’ve easily won that match if you had just put the pan rotated 90 clockwise, and the gloves between it and the banana. Would’ve resulted in 15% more banana speed, or sacrifice the blueberry pan damage for 25% banana speed. Either way, its almost always wrong to waste half of your gloves.
