Just as "veg..an" cuts the crap, so does "whole ... plant..." WFPB is academic, redundant, and vague. "Whole food" includes eggs, carcass, and whole milk. "Plant based" is some portion of plants. WFPB is flexitarian. "Whole plant vegan" says what it means and means what it says. "Whole plant vegan" already implies low fat, no processed oil, no added sugar. It unambiguously excludes animal products.

Thanks for being such a great teacher & always reminding us of the importance of Whole Foods in a plant based vegan eating style. A strong foundation creates habits you can trust. I’m starting on this path & always grateful for your videos!
I hate the term "whole food plant based" because it suggests that while the base of the diet comprises plants, it may also contain non-plant elements. I tell people I eat a whole food vegan diet which is more descriptive of both health and ethical aspects of my life style

Plant based is a nice new buzz word which makes people feel better about eating plants, vegan is a lifestyle with the animals at the forefront but now vegans are seeing as aggressive militant ranters for making a stand for the animals. Allot of people still don’t know what vegan is let alone plant based! It’s great that there are so many options these days for transition food but so many are so unhealthy.
