My FIL was proud to tell everyone that he had a trust and that it was simple, clear, and only three pages. He maintained that the attorneys charged by the page and if you had more than three they stole your money. He nearly died when I told ours was close to thirty pages so we might have overpaid.
A week before my MIL passed he was too emotional to deal with it and passed the ball to my wife. Guess what his cheap trust was missing?
My wife had to get a MPoA from our attorney but it needed to be signed and notarized. Trying to get a notary in the hospital room, during Covid, delayed her getting the care she needed by a day.
These can potentially be the most important documents in your trust.

There are nearly 10 million people, mostly seniors who have no next of kin.
Power of Attorney or Living Will is meaningless if you dont have an advocate, you can trust and/or who has a fudiciary responsibilty to the patient.
    Dead people have no rights.

Trust me, it is. Without one the doctors won’t even talk to anyone else in the family let alone give you a voice in your loved ones care. Get it today.
