200 of the Top College Fishing Teams Compete at Lake Hartwell for a National Championship Title

Day 1 Coverage of the BoatUS Collegiate Bass Fishing Championship presented by Bass Pro Shops
The BoatUS Collegiate Bass Fishing Championship presented by Bass Pro Shops is the final event of the season on the Bass Pro Shops Collegiate Bass Fishing Series. 200 of the top teams have qualified to earn the opportunity to compete in college fishing’s longest-running National Championship event. This show will provide complete coverage from Day 1 of tournament competition.
Lake Hartwell offers a vast playing field for anglers to go out in search of the best five bass limit they can catch. Deep structure, boat docks, and blue back herring are all different structure and baitfish that anglers can target to find success.
Not only are anglers vying for a National Championship title this week, but teams are also looking to finish as high up in the standings as possible for the Bass Pro Shops School of the Year presented by Abu Garcia. Many of the nation’s top ranked teams are on-site at Lake Hartwell competing to earn their share of the triple points that are up for grabs. The standings for this season will be finalized at the completion of weigh-in on Day 2.
