Love it! You played it a lot better than I have. Lochmere back 9 consist of some of the best holes in the state - personally, I love the dog-legs with elevation changes - of which Lochmere back 9 has plenty! Great video highlighting a hidden gem in the lakes region. Staff is super friendly and I believe their membership rates are very reasonable as well. Given the option, I prefer to play the back 9 at Lochmere. Albeit, under construction-Pembroke Pines is a similar course where front 9 is wide open and long-ish and the back 9 is completely opposite
Yep, I agree completely, very fun golf course with great character and design. Left a bunch of shots out there today but it is what it is, fantastic day!
Great course, grew up just a few miles in Laconia NH so played it a few times and it’s tough and enjoyable for sure. Classic golf in NH. I also hit a draw with every club so probably why I like Lochmere, haha
My home course. I play there all the time. Hole 10 is the #2 handicap on the course. Hole #15 is Death on a Stick. You'll see why shortly. Hole #13, has the Bridge of Shame should you hit right. This hole, believe it or not, used to be a par 4. You had to hit to the landing area where the current tee boxes are now. They got so many complaints because it was so hard, they converted it to a par 3. But as a par 3, you MUST HIT THE GREEN. Trouble both left and right.
@@askthebuilder Hey great to hear some local knowledge! I'm certainly looking forward to getting back out there, not sure I can wedge it into this year's schedule, but next season for sure! Very enjoyable to play!

Not the easiest place to film professional TH-cam golf content, but we've been on an absolute tear for the past couple years, it's a lot of fun! A lot of beautiful courses that don't get the quality coverage they deserve! 💪
Great video, I remember playing that course as a kid and none of it looks familiar! I need to get back there. I have a question, and not hating at all. Are you really a 6.5 handicapper, or is that for 9 holes? I know you were rusty for this round but your sores at the end only showed you breaking 85 twice. I'm a 10.5 and my scores look similar to yours and I consistently break 90. So genuinely curious what I'm doing wrong haha. Anyway keep the videos coming!
@@hlynurbjarkason7317 Hmmm assuming you mean NH and strictly the course notwithstanding any other factors probably Montcalm. We've featured them in a video before we had the GGS series and it was a little bit of golf paradise nestled into the mountains. @@leebolton9773 Not really in the cards at the moment.
