This is why Falcom kicks ass, amazing music in their games, a loyal if somewhat small fanbase, and a lot of fucking spirit in what they do. For all the endless Final Fantasy arrangements and concerts, you've never seen their crowds get fired up like this.
Eric Lueck that's because the Falcom songs such as this one have so much energy to them so it's easy to get fired up because of that infectious energy :) the games are getting more recognition thanks to the English localizations in recent years from XSEED Games and NISA
Fantastic localization work as well, CS hits steam on the second, and Ys 8 is looking awesome. Plus Zwei the Ilvard Insurrection will be due out later this year and the two Legend of Xanadu games are nearly done fan translated. It's never been a better time to be a Falcom fan.
One of the things I love best about the old JDK band performances is just their energy and how much fun they look like they are having. Mizutani and Teramae are all smiles, Kamikura is just so into it especially during his keytar bits, all of it. You can tell they know how much the fans enjoy it and they are right there with them. Not to mention the vocal performances. The energy of Icarus Watanabe is wild. Their sets are super long and that guy is super hyped the whole time.
One of the things I do love about Teramae is how much he's having fun in every single venue he's playing at lol I hope to see more of him with this band in the future
@@thisisaloli4622 The current leader of J.D.K band (Mitsuo Singa) pretty much made most of the experienced players quit due to his apparent toxic behavior, so most of the unit's performances were replaced with, let's say amateur players, who struggle to play most of Falcom's famous songs. It also doesn't help that Singa is responsible for some of the worst tracks on Sen no Kiseki III/IV and Ys VIII/IX.
@@excellionnox7987 Not to mention that current arrangers/Singa himself suck at their job. Ys somehow got more or less untouched, but Trails recent OST is in shambles. I don't really mind Singa's tracks that much, most are just good to mediocre, but man they are so poorly arranged I wonder if someone even cares at this point. About to get my hands on YS 9 OST, we'll see how that goes. Also, I wouldn't call Singa the leader of jdk, since he is always listed as a contractor in OST. Despite composing about a quarter of all tracks and arranging about as much at least. Hm. Why the fuck is he a contractor at this point? More importantly, why did he even get so much say in OST creation process, and why isn't Tokunan in his place?
@@TheSchoolyD Oh boy you're in for a fucking ride with Ys IX's OST. Singa pretty much doubled his input on that soundtrack. Some tracks are good and are a lot better than his output on Sen no Kiseki III/IV, but the sampling and arrangement choices are lackluster. On the bright side, Teramae is present on the handful of Jindo's tracks, alongside Nagano. So it's easy to say that they're the best tracks on the game. And as for why Singa has some much output as of late, it's very simple. His tracks are very cheap in comparison to Jindo or Unisuga.
Actually a heap of it is in english. You should be able to make out "This is the voice of your "Father words" (could be "further worlds", given a deitific "Father" is not exactly relevant to the Kiseki world - unless you are referring to Cassius being a "gary stu" :p). The initial bits which I thought were "The Creature Spirit, little Spirit" which is obviously an imitation on the typical "Cum Sanctus Spirito" (Come Holy Spirit!) that are the basis of a catholic chant or other church music of the same name (Eg see the last movement of Vivaldi's Gloria th-cam.com/video/azS9Km5kK8g/w-d-xo.html) Regardless, the imitation is vaguely relevant to the plot point in the game at which this music sounds, given the arrival (or "Coming") of... (spoilers).
I can't fault KeA for being a gullible doof, cause 1. she's just a kid that thought she was doing the right thing, 2. Mariabell is extremely conniving and manipulative, and 3. That nightmare of a boss fight had an absolute banger of a theme.
What's important is that everyone's having fun here.

Insane performance, even better than the original music, and that isn't a simple task
LayHon0217 I still love the original more (mainly because I don't like guitar solos) which this one had near the end, but its still good.
God that guitar solo was just as a good as I hoped it'd be :D

This is purely insane and genius.
I just got multiple eargasms!!!
Now that Trails to Azure is westernized, I hope this gets more views.
Watching this after beating Azure and thanking Geofront every second
The Azure Arbitrator Evolution version should have been this.
You know you got a good theme when you can work in a violin solo and it only elevates the hype levels.

Bro I’ve been to mainstream act concerts with crowds that were absolutely dead compared to this
I NEED an official western localisation of the Zero dualogy damnit! 😭😭😭😭
I think they going to port evolution versions to the western
Falcom CEO hinted it, that's why Zero and Ao Kai are developed for PS4
