PvE is like the best part of Hearthstone imo; though the older stuff is better. Dungeon Run, Witchwood Run, The Boom Labs, Dalaran Heist, Tombs of Terror, stuff like that.
Tbh the really old adventures (naxramas & blackrock mountain) were really fun as well. You had to build decks around the bosses to beat them in heroic mode. Or just run in with a deck full of legendaries on normal... Like total biscuit did.
Dalaran Heist is maybe the best gold I ever spent in Hearthstone having played since beta. There's so much replay value and so many cool encounters and synergies. It's just really good. With just a tad more polish I honestly would've been happy buying it as like a 20 dollar indie roguelike on Steam.
Pve is really fun, that's one thing i miss in mtga when looking back at hearthstone. Even if all i would get out of it is fun, no xp, no gold, not even quest progress i would still be happy for wizards to give it a try :3
Just fyi you can always revisit the VODs on Twitch as well - I know the UI isn't for everyone, but if you get used to it it can work. I just watched this full stream archive, 'twas a blast
Getting to the last boss on your first try as someone who's new to the game us quite the accomplishment. I'd love to watch her try the Puzzle Lab in the Boomsday Project
Not sure she's ready to tackle that one just yet. Some of those puzzles were freaking HARD and require a very advanced understanding of how the game works.

A F Kay can in one turn summon basically EVERY heavy weight minion, the turn after she destroys you, so, don't piddle around with weak stuff, destroy her first, when she realizes "oh, we've started?" you have 1 turn to do or be done.
here's some useful info in regards to the book of mercenaries: in the year they were released, the year was built up like a WoW campaign from level 1 to max level. Each class got a merc and all stories are connected, told through the sets released in that year. So unless you've already beaten them all, I'd suggest going in chronological order, otherwise you'd spoiler yourself. But as others said: the dungeon runs, especially dalaran heists & tombs of terror were excellent. It's a bit like a marvel movie w/ each class getting heroes/villains for a showdown. Glad you like the game so far!
Making the fun parts of games hidden is kind of a secret talent of Blizzard. In WoW, the actually fun quests and non-standard quests are by far the best. In Overwatch, the Workshop/Player-made modes and some of the arcade modes are just more fun to play. Similar with StarCraft 2 - none of the main modes is very entertaining. It's almost like Blizzard Entertainment, as a company, has forgotten what makes their games good and just produces so much stuff that something will eventually be good.
IIRC, the AI in hearthstone is programmed to try and avoid lethal from hand if there are other options to target and it didn't already have lethal on board. It's to avoid people feeling bad by losing to something they can't predict when they have a huge board advantage, especially because the AI in pve uses some cards/ hero powers that are not available in the pvp modes that might be considered 'unpredictable'. People call it 'bad ai', but more accurately it's AI with pity for the player built in lol. That's what happened at 6:35

Same! I feel as though these edited versions are cut too much. I always appreciate edited stuff but losing the continuity between one moment to the next is stressful and slows my thought process down too much, and by the time i catch up the video is already several moments ahead so i just sucks. On the other hand, very few people have time to watch full unedited stream vods, so it's either a matter of balancing how to edit these highlight videos well enough to be clear and understandable versus a mixture of both vods and highlights. Le sigh.
grats on your huge success since the rarran collab/hearthstone beginnings. for your pinned question, i think shorter videos usually perform better, hpwever your vods got huge views aswell, but you probably have better insight on the watchtimes. if people just click in and turn off after one hour itll fuck your algorithm

Idk how most people feel but while I appreciate the edited content, it feels maybe too much is being cut? Personally I enjoy seeing the continuity between cuts so I can understand what's going on rather than specific highlights with several turns cut out.
Watching these editing are better for my blood pressure I think, you are incredibly entertaining, but I often find myself screaming at the back of the car and no one can hear me haha
