- Nigel Farage returns to the LBC studio for the first time since he left the station in 2020. He faced questions from Nick Ferrari and LBC callers as his resurgent party competes for the right-wing vote with the Conservatives.
LBC's Henry Riley takes you through the biggest moments:
00:24 "We need a coherent voice of opposition."
Farage on leading a new centre-right 'merger' of the Tories and Reform UK.
01:40 "We'll take him on!"
Wes Streeting on the prospect of facing Farage in opposition.
02:31 "These are ordinary people!"
Farage is confronted by controversial statements from his candidates.
04:59 "You're talking a pack of lies, Nigel!"
Mike in Oldham takes Mr Farage to task on one of his previous comments.
06:50 "If Brexit is a disaster, I'll go and live abroad."
Does the Reform UK leader still think Brexit has been a success?
08:51 "Mass migration is making us poorer."
'The penny is beginning to drop on migration,' Mr Farage insists.

They’ve had to field and vet hundreds of candidates in a few weeks, Labour have had years to do this.
It is a company not a party.
It's not really a political party. Owned by him and doesn't democratically elect a leader. It's a business.

"Never seen a French man work after lunch" He's obviously never been to France. He also says one moment Brexit's a success then the next it isn't. Journalists need to do more like this interview and hold him to account.

Wow are the MSM ever scared crapless of Nigel and the Reform party! 🇨🇦
Scared? He's a sideshow. A distraction. Nothing else. Look at his attendance record as an MEP to see what kind of an MP he'll make.
‘Economy is better because of Brexit’ is one of the most ridiculous things I’ve ever heard. The Office for Budget Responsibility says imports and exports are 15% lower than they would have been had we not have left, and London Gov Uk says the average Briton is £2000 worse off and that there are 2 million fewer jobs than before Brexit. Right wing populism is the groundwork for fascism.
2 million fewer jobs, but we still need immigration to fill jobs
It's also worth pointing out that at the start of 2020 just before Covid Farage supported the tories' "over ready deal". Now that that deal has not delivered results he has the nerve to only blame the tories.
I think we’re now the fourth largest exporter in the world
Trade deals been signed all over the place
All this with a government and a civil service that doesn’t really one Brexit
Imagine if everybody got behind Britain, imagine what we could do
I think, if we really focused this island could rule the world 🌍
Er, we're the fourth largest exporter in the world, up from 7th where we have been for years, so actually it is starting to work. It was never going to happen over night.
Left wing populism is the ground work for communism. We can all make these outlandish statements, they don’t mean anything.
