Thank you for posting, ma'am. I sometimes leave for a ride and have my jacket, my rain gear AND my chaps all in my saddlebag. Since my wife is typically with me, I have to put everything in one saddlebag. This should help us be able to get them all in, with a bit of room left over. It'll come in pretty handy when we are in Sturgis this fall!
For those concerned about wrinkling, a way to combat that is using a few layers of tissue paper on inside and out for anywhere that may fold. It helped DECREASE but not completely stop some small wrinkles from forming. Also, when possible keep jacket in this form for as little time as possible. If traveling, wear it on the plane.
Wow. Nice job. The only additional thing I would do prior to packing, is probably use painters tape on some of the pull. If tape not available, perhaps placing the zippers on the inside track of the zippers of the pockets.
That's looks great. Just had a question about how it affects the leather? I'm a little paranoid about folding my jacket since I just got it and trying to put it in a luggage bag for a flight. How do you guys take care of your jackets and would folding it in general affect or make any lines/wrinkles in the leather?
I'm concerned with that too... I sell vintage things on Etsy and I'm concerned the buyer will flip out when they see it all balled up into that little folded packet like a puzzle piece...
I wear riding gear year round but i pack my leathers for cold riding on long trips, wearing leathers in houston TX from March through October is asking to die

I don’t know why there are only 325 likes on this. That is amazing.

I love that video! I've referred to it a couple of times already and I have it saved. Great job. Saved me a ton on shipping
this is so awesome! my (fake lol) leather jacket takes up so much space in my luggage so im happy to see there is a way to make it fit smaller :)
Thank you for sharing this awesome information.
A bit of "biker ingenuity." Pretty cool. 👍
Worked good exept I just used the neck snaps instead of zipping it back up... thank you

Nice! I wear my leathers year-round (ATGATT), but I can apply this to my rain gear, which is rather bulky.

That’s gonna leave wrinkles on your leather jacket.
I was thinking that too...
