This morning, after a beautiful stay in Setti Fatma in Ourika Valley, it is finally time to hit the road again and start to make our journey inland towards the beautiful desert region of Morocco. We stayed the night right in the village of Setti Fatma. So this morning we are heading back down the valley - with a special breakfast stop back at the friendly restaurant we found the day before.

I've been fortunate to enjoy days of traveling through back roads in Morocco and stopping for food in small towns. It's a sensory experience
like no other, the friendly people truly appreciate your visit, and the food is fresh and delicious!
My last trip I had the best ever grilled sardines served on a paper spread on the table. Beef kefta is also one of my favorites. Tagines of any ingredients - because of the cooking method and spices- are one of the tastiest treats on earth.

How to pronounce msemen : first you begin with ''mmmh'' as in ''Mmmh that's quite lovely'', no need for extra vowels or any topping, it's good as is. Then you hit the second stop, Mmm-sum like the summum, the summit of delicacies, a ''suh'' sound. Then ''men'' also sort needs an almost silent u kinda like in last name Munn...you're essentially saying M-suh-munn.
Now you can add vowels to taste if you want to speak the word slowly : Muh-sum-munn. Most of us breeze through it and say M-suh-mnn. Interesting isn't it? I hope Harry and Oscar are doing good on their homework. They are in the school of life right now and learning more than most kids, getting more experience. We are very proud of them. We commend you as parents for offering your children all these lifelong experiences and opportunities.
