I'd not underestimate the power of the elevators both in getting around and in transporting items in the mountains short distances( even if down then back up to go between plateaus. You already have a train moving logs on your 1st loop, 1st carriage, speaking of which sending a 1 carriage train up that line specifically to move logs for fuel around to all your stations should be easy, pipe a road from the carriage to the station with a crate(, item filter) and 2 haulies. Though it may be easier to have a the carriage 1 forward of the train to be designated as the fuel(, wood or coal.) carriage so it can travel all the loops without effecting the existing assumptions about what is in each spot.
Yes, getting up and around in the mountains for the first time, I used the elevators a lot, made exploring easier. Using a train with a single carriage to just move logs around would work. But I'm not sure how I'd get it on one track to load, then go to the other track to unload. I think changing things up a little to have the carriage forward would be better in the long run, but to start with, we'll go with the logs being brought in to the drop off area, and just fuel the trains there.
pretty good micro against the rock monster, well done!

Just bought this game after watching you play. Thanks for the fun content!
