I looked into AI when the AI talking heads were saying "you need to adapt to this new technology blah blah", and I got to say, it feels completely terrible to use if you are trying to replace actual drawing. It just involves sitting there, in front of a slot machine, with the image in your head, typing in random words, and praying to the algorithm gods that it automatically generates something "close enough" to what you are thinking of. Sometimes, it works out, but only after you spent a few soul-crushing hours of typing prompts and rerolling, that you could have productively spent actually having fun creating the thing you wanted to make to begin with on your own terms.
Yeah, just another example of science nerds creating useless trash- but then again, that's always been Silicon Valley's modus operandi, so it's very predictable

It's a matter of who's willing to be honest about what they see with their own eyes, and who's not, and from the standpoint of a professional artist, I just can't lie about how shit it looks, even if it costs me money or popularity or whatever
