Sugar flowers last for years but you wouldn't want to eat them anyway. I've still got mine from my wedding three years ago. It's the sugar flowers she is talking about. The cakes would probably be only a week or two old at most. Because they are wrapped in fondant, they are completely sealed and stay fresh for ages depending on the type of cake.
I think the decorative flowers were sculpted through the year and then finally the assembly with baking the cake and icing it. So I think the cake itself is edible, but I'm not sure but the flowers may be as well. It's probably sugary enough to preserve itself
oh my god! that is amazing! it is simply jaw dropping, your talent is beyond words, and the song at the end fit just right , because that is the what i want for my cake too lol maybe not that tall though . are some of those cake dummy cakes for the added height. i hope so cause thats a lot of cake lol but simply amazig work. love it
