I run a Xiaomi 12S Ultra, my daughter runs a Redmi K40 Pro. The fact is, Xiaomi is one of the few brands really pushing the boundaries of the cellphone industry, all while remaining extremely fairly priced. The reality is, Chinese phones are just incredibly well-made, doing things that many western companies (Samsung, too) are hesitant to do, all while, again, remaining fairly priced. Vivo, Oppo, Huawei, and Xiaomi, all fantastic brands. I'm a very happy Xiaomi (and Redmi) customer. Thanks for this video!

The price depends on where yuu live, like here in SEA country the price for Samsung, Oppo, Vivo & Huawei actually quite similar, not much different, the only phone that fairly priced are Xiaomi, Redmi & Realme
I noticed that, during the speaker test mode, and the side by side comparisons of different modes of camera shots, that the editor is putting more and more care into the little details of the video. The timing of the speaker mode switch between phones lines up with the beginning of the bars in the song, while the side by side comparisons of different modes are of the same phone, showing relevant and appreciated information on the phone's camera performance. This added attention to detail is GREATLY appreciated.

That said, I think the K60 is louder and, compared back to back, it sounds more shrill or brassy, but I think that's only because they're back to back. You wonder if manufacturing costs are so tight, the OV64B was the only option, or whether it was done to widen the difference between K60 and K60 Pro. The rumoured Poco X5 GT, and its 50 MP sensor, could be interesting against the K60/F5 Pro. Particularly if it's the IMX 766 of the Note 12 Pro.
Redmi K60 expect to lunch globally as POCO F5 or F5 pro Wireless charging is not necessary for everyone. But good camera is much needed factor instead of 64 MP omnivision sensor in IMX 766 should be used for global markets.. Remove wireless charging, Add Good primary camera Sony IMX 766

How could you recommend the base variant over the Pro one when the fact that the Pro variant has the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset already makes it a must-buy. GSMArena had a poll asking people which of the three Redmi K60 models they're likely to buy and the Pro model came out winning by a huge margin.

I think you can remove them, however I would personally wait for Poco F5 which is just gonna be rebranded K60 but for global market hence its gonna have global ROM and probably better quality control.

bought the phone. the oled panel is on the yellowish side. even if its set on vivid mode and fhd+ due to the screen maker used in manufacturing as stated by this yt channel. i found it weird because the ips panel of my previous phone (poco x3 nfc) in vivid mode is more color accurate and high contrast.😅 the annoying things when using the k60 is the speaker placement. top left and bottom right. when i play genshin impact, a part of my hand usually blocks 1 part of the speaker. and bloatware i had to use adb tools for xiaomi to disable apps and uninstall 2 keyboards 😂 (mi secure keyboard and segoe keyboard) also even if you have set the phones language in english, there are still security prompts written in chinese.
Yellowish? Have you turned off the sunlight/reading mode? i would rank those phones in this order: 1 iqoo neo 8 2 redmi k60 3 legion y70 iqoo neo 8 is a bit expensive at the time that i bought my k60. but has decent camera (a sony imx sensor) and faster charging and almost flagship appearance. but its not widevine lvl 1 at that time. while redmi k60 was decent but needs to be debloated and camera performance was mediocre especially at night mode, the camera was too noisy when shooting at low light scenes. go for legion y70 if you really need that sd 8+ gen 1 because this is the cheapest sd 8+ gen 1 phone right now. known issues of this phone was the problem on messenger app, you will have a hard time making video calls because its buggy (dont know if this is fixed or not). but the bypass charging is an advantage during long term gaming.

I too have the f3 but I'm not sure if it's worth the upgrade. The only major upgrade is the processor 1440p and wireless charging. The rest is improved but not by a lot. If this had maybe slimmer bezels and faster charging It would be a no brainer. I'm really torn now. What do you think?
It's strange, the battery is much bigger, but the battery life is about the same, slightly better. It seems that the k60 doesn't have a good battery optimization and that should be one of its biggest differentials.
And why did they lower the frequency to 3.00 Ghz in the f5 pro/k60? The SD 8+ gen 1 is supposed to be already optimized to avoid the heating issues of the sd 8 gen 1. Would someone be so kind as to explain to me why this SD 8+ GEN 1 is underclocked? MARKETING? OR IS IT A DEFECTIVE PROCESSOR? OR A NORMAL SD 8GEN 1? Kinda disappointed that they use the Omnivission 64 MP instead of the IMX 686 on the Poco F4 GT. Probably reason why camera performance isn't on par.

You can undervolt and overclock the gpu using konabes but the cpu, I've never seen any apps to overclock it

Well I am using the device the global apps are not optimized PUBG 90fps not available the display colors are not equal to even Samsung 1080p screens imported it from china Soo many bloatwares that are not even deletable
