I actually bought a bottle by accident, I thought I was buying the OG L'homme but got this instead. I was at first annoyed but decided to keep it and am glad I did, It is so good, probably my favourite fresh iris scent.
Nice insight! For me L' Eau is much better than the original - that I find quite generic, dull and feminine. L' Eau is more unisex and does the Spring-Summer thing better. For Fall-Winter the Intense is more suited. Here in Europe, L'Eau projects very good for 4 hours and stays on my skin for a total of 10 hours of longevity. It's semi-beastly on me, with 6 sprays only on skin. So, if you want just 1 from the line, jack of all trades, master of none, get the OG. Otherwise get L' Eau and Intense. Or even better: L' Eau and Givenchy Gentleman Parfum.
Great review. I got a 10 ml sample of this earlier this month and loved it. It's so soft, crisp, pleasant and uplifting. Reminds me a bit of Jaguar Classic Cologne (blue juice). Just a great and fresh scent for almost any occasion.
The Prada L'Eau is indeed very pleasant smelling. The L'Eau and the Intense in fact made me give the original a second chance (didn't like it at first) but now I own both the L'Eau and the original. For the Fall/Winter I'll eventually get the intense as well. I agree the box could be made smaller. I do keep the boxes but flattened. First I remove the internal parts (those used for bottle placement) and throw all of that away. So just the very external box, I open all the flaps and then flatten it, then stack it on top of all my other flattened boxes.

Some people may only wear the OG and find the others unnecessary. Others may have the Eau, OG, and the Intense, but not the Absolu. The Absolu is allegedly somewhere between the OG and the Intense. I own OG, Eau, and Intense, not planning to get the Absolu, but haven't smelled it yet, so you never know ;) For my own nose the OG and Eau are quite similar, but not redundant. I actually did not like the OG at first, but at first sniff I loved the drydown of the Eau and also the Intense, so got the Eau and planned to get the Intense later. After my nose familiarized with it, the OG actually stopped being offputting for me (it was at first), and also got it. Now I also got the Intense.
L'eau does translate to water, but doesn't mean the fragrance is "watered down" lol it just has more emphasis on top notes giving it a fresher opening, more ginger and neroli. L'eau performs even better than the original without a doubt.
I wasn’t a fan of l’eau. I wanted more ginger and character but smells cheaper than Lhomme. For me it doesn’t hold a candle to Amber Pour homme or even the original Lhomme.
Honestly there's a slight chance you regret this. The only difference is that leau is vibrant and even if you think you're not smelling it anymore it's there and projecting. And Loriginal is more iris and sweet and and not drydown is the same imo.

I "accidentally" bought l'homme l'eau instead of l'homme and after purchasing that one I gave my l'eau bottle to my dad who generally doesn't wear fragrances but occasionally puts it on now cuz i gifted him the bottle... recently when returning home late at night I could still catch whiffs of it and when I asked him he said he had sprayed it on in the morning which means it was lasting more than 12hrs at that point... impressive

I fall in love with this fregnance, sadly it doesn't last long (EDT) on my skin, max is 2h. I did try 5 sprays 3 on neck 2 on wrists. Larph Lauren Polo Silver on dry down is exactly the same, same longevity. Any suggestions to similar IRIS fregnance are welcome.

It turn out my Prada sample was bad. My 150ml bottle last long time and projects for at least 3 to 4 hours. No issue with the performance too, maybe my sample was stored in bad condition.

Yes.. Is true i have both prada L'homme and ajmal evoke gold men.. Not exactly the same but you get the prada vibes.. Good alternative to prada L'homme

Why would you need the box?
@ Well now not keeping the boxes flattened, but keeping all fragrances in their boxes to better protect them from light.
