- Sorry, had a fix an error someone pointed out. Sure I hope I got all of them this time. I really need to quit trying to make series references though.
A couple of things. First off, there are some very minor spoilers in here. Nothing that you probably couldn't figure out from watching Rebirth's intro, mind you, but they're there, so spoiler-phobes be forewarned.
Second, I tried to keep everyone in-character (or at least, as in-character as they were acting) including Milhaust. In case you don't know, he's supposed to sound Middle English-like, but I wasn't trying to make it to where you need to run for a dictionary every time he opens his mouth.
Third, I swear that Namco is making fun of me because they decided that they'd do an Exhibition for Eugene before I got around to it. XD Anyway, hopefully mine turns out a bit better than theirs.
Fourth, about Veigue's line that he stole from Kojima in that last part...there are a couple of ways to interpret the line such as "What does it matter!?" or "Who gives a damn about that!?" I went with what I did as it seemed to make the most sense in context; Veigue doesn't start saying that until the "The Man Who Came From 2004?" thingy popped up, so I thought he was reacting to that somehow. If anyone's curious to see the real McCoy, there are some funny but untranslated videos of Yoshio Kojima up on TH-cam. Warning though, he's wearing a speedo and yes, apparently it's intentional.

Bwahaha, this is why I love the Tales series so much, its quirky sense of humour and ability to poke fun at itself is the BEST. XD I loved the bit where Eugene and Milhaust were trying to fight on the 256 line battlefield. :p

She was kidnapped and he wants to get her back. He's a man of few words so then it happens what he says and screams the most is her name. It is a pretty deep game, but...
That and Claire is *REALLY* dear to him. They're childhood friends after all.
Even the most serous characters can be so funny XD.
I'm thinking of Presea now.

2. The 256 line gag. Nuff said (by the way, you're right. It seems they are mocking you with the Eugene's ougi thing X3)

ROFLMAO ON THE 256 Line Linear Motion Battle System that made me laugh so hard I almost died
well battle wise, gamecube version, you don't have a choice to move around were ever you want to, you move foward or back, and in ps2 version there are alot more sidquests.
Wait, what were they alluding to about the state of things in Japan?
That's the infinite-line linear motion battle system!

if you got the Ps2 version, it would be 360 degrees, i dunno how many lines that comes to. Game cube is Very limited to the Ps2 version

Mao indeed is a boy. Albeit voiced by a girl, and he's not particularly masculine (compared to the other three playable male characters in the cast, at least...)
