- Javier's Las Vegas is one place we have hesitated to try. Why? It's expensive for Mexican food. And we didn't know if it would be worth the hype. But after so many viewers said it was great, we knew we needed to try Javier's once and for all and see for ourselves. See what we thought!

I haven't but it looks really great.
Totally disappointed- stale chips, flavorless salsa, unseasoned entree. Great margaritas and ambiance, though! Said I would give it another chance, but not excited to go back :(

Melissa, The thumbnail is beautiful. I was holding my breath waiting to hear your review. From the minute you liked your margarita I knew it was going in the right direction. Your review was excellent. It’s one of my favorite upscale Mexican restaurants. From the ambiance,presentation,cocktails,entrees, and desserts.It never disappoints ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

You know I love my Mexican food, but not a fan of seafood. $130 for Mexican, however, that's a hard NO for me. 🤣 Thanks for taking one for the team amiga 😉
Enrique doesn’t like seafood either. I love it! You gotta try just once Coco! I will go back just for the black beans! 🤣

Loved your Vecindad Vegas and Javier’s Vegas reviews. I have yet to visit Javiers anywhere, but did go to Vecindad. You are “on point” with Vecindad, so I would definitely consider your review for Javier’s. I am not a huge seafood diner, but would prefer the steak option or other non seafood meals. Thank you for keeping it real! 😉
Javier’s was delicious, but definitely more upscale and not “traditional”. As long as you don’t expect that and have an open mind, you’ll really enjoy the flavors. Enrique doesn’t eat seafood, so we will always have at least one non-seafood dish. 🤣

I tend to judge Mexican restaurants by the chips, salsa and beans. If they got those right, there's a good chance the rest is really good.
It’s probably the most expensive Mexican restaurant we have been to! It was really good but we are just fine with the less pricy joints!!!

It’s hard for me to eat at Mexican restaurants in other states because I live in Texas and omg the Mexican food here is phenomenal
There’s no Tex Mex in Vegas 😂🤣. We’re in CA so I understand what you mean. Plus my husband is Mexican (lived in MX) so his moms cooking is always better than anything

Lol he ate his food plus some of my beans cause they were sooo good. The lobster enchilada was by favorite aside from the beans. Yummyyy! Javier’s is right on the casino floor area. Easy to find

They did give us 2 bowls of salsa (we prob look like we can throw it down). Yeah, the shrimp taco was probably my only disappointment. Nothing special. Mmmm I want more beans! I usually know if there’s lard. I don’t think there was here, but they were still amazing!!!
I think I will stick with Juan's Flaming Fajita's, family of 3= 60 bucks and delicious.
