Hey, I liked your reaction a lot. I just want to clear some things you missed catching on to.
1. Kuea's best friend actually warned him against going to Gemini, knowing Lian and Yi would be there. He made everything clear to him, about the bet, too. That's why he told him not to go. Kuea being stubborn, he goes to check if Lian was truly at the club, there by leading Hia Yi to lose the bet. So Diao was actually being a great friend.
2. When Yi and Lian were talking about Diao & Kuea's importance in their respective lives, Yi compared Lian to a planet and Kuea to the sun, calling Kuea the center of Lian's universe. By now, we understand that they know each other pretty well. Which means Yi knows that Kuea is very important to Lian. So Lian really cares for Kuea, but doesn't like the “proper boy” act he puts on in front of him. He even wanted to prove himself worthy of marrying Kuea and worked hard to get where he is now, all for Kuea.(we see this in the flashback of Lian and his dad's conversation).
So to summarize the last 2 episodes; They were close while growing up together, but Kuea went abroad for further studies and Lian got busy with building his business empire. They don't really know each other as adults, leading to assumptions & misunderstandings. Lian cares deeply for Kuea and knows that he's hiding his true self, which he does not like. It was Kuea who called off the engagement. Lian did not. So, Lian thinks he can coerce Kuea into revealing his true self by saying that he doesn't want to marry an Annabelle doll (being two faced). While on the other hand, Kuea loving Lian so much assumes that not being a “well-behaved” person would drive Lian away. After that heated conversation in Lian's office, he now firmly believes that Lian doesn't like him, which we now know is further from the truth. That's where we are at!

Thank you for the long comment;❤ I appreciate that a lot. I kinda watched the part where Lian and Yi are speaking. I just can't put the whole series due to copyright, but I got your point, and now everything makes much more sense! I actually started to sense that Lian is deeply in love with our Kuea, and all this is his plan to reveal his real identity. I sensed this in the end when he said that he wants to live with him so in this way, he will not be able to act the whole time. Thank you so much for your comment. I am really happy because this was the main reason to create this channel: to get in touch with people who share similar interests and even find some nice friends. I've seen many misunderstand the first 3 episodes and write the series off as naive and cringe-worthy, whereas I've found a lot to learn from it. Well, I've absolutely enjoyed your reaction. Also idk if anyone has told you yet but "Hia" isn't actually a part of their name its just what younger guys call older guys who are Thai-Chinese

omg the timing, i was at Nunew's (Kuea's actor) 3rd single showcase yesterday as I'm visiting bangkok, thailand, i get to see both of the actors + hia yi (max) and diao (nat) too. and now here's the 3rd ep reaction!! 😆😆 how exciting
