This is by far, the most genuine and beautiful rendition of "one Moment In Time", sung by "Glennis Grace". I know she's not Whitney, but she comes damn close. This performance really made me think about Whitney's rendition of the song at the 1989 Grammy Awards. From 3:22 till the end, she's just showing off, pure perfection. If there's ever gonna be a movie about Whitney's musical life, Glennis has to be the one playing the leading role as Whitney. There's no one else at this planet, who could do this role more justice then miss Grace.
That's what i have been asking myself for the last ten years, this lady should be right on top with the rest of the so called diva's, and i promise you, she would slay all of them in a heartbeat. Right now she's the only one who should do a Whitney Houston tribute and do it justice, even at the AMA's, where Christina Aguilera sucked big time. This doesn't mean XTina is a bad artist but for a Whitney Houston tribute, they should've picked Glennis and everyone there would've gone nuts.
The orchestra played right, but in my humble opinion, they played too loud. They should have played with this intensity, but a little bit low, in order to allow Glennis voice sound more strong, although she doesn't need any kind of help. But it would be better if the orchestra wasn't so invasive. She sings like an angel, and this song, by far is my favorite. A few years ago I listened to it over and over again by Whitney, and now, this .... it's unbelievable. It's really amazing.
