- Restoring and converting this card catalog index file box into an end table for my library was a fun project to share with you all.

Excited for the new channel. I love the bike restoration and restomod videos, but it was the hatchet and tool restoration ones that brought me to your channel in the first place. Good luck
Awesome thank you for the support.
Thanks for this have missed the older restorations that you started with. The bikes are interesting but only show one facet of your skills. Also love seeing the quartersawn restored.
Thanks John, I’ve missed doing the other stuff also. TH-cam is a tough one to keep happy. I’m hoping this channel can be one that I can share more variety.
Lovely video, and a nice reminder that not all restorations need to be complicated.
Also, 50 subs in 18 hours ain't bad at all. I'm looking forward to your future vids.
Thanks 🙏 and we’ll said.
a well done restoration, greetings from the Netherlands.
Just saw your second channel. Was a subscriber to your old channel or first channel on bicycles for a long time. This is a good video. Best wishes on its success. You are gifted.
Awesome thank you 🙏

That's a great idea❕
I have that identical file box. I haven't had a place or use for it but didn't want to get rid of it. I definitely want to make mine into a table now too.
😎👍👍
I have a question...
Is there a specific reason for adding that wood as opposed to just attaching the legs directly to the box?
Good question. I debated on this. The legs came with 1 inch screws, the box is made from 1/2 inch oak. My debate was if I needed the full inch for stability so I added the extra 1/2 inch oak on the bottom. I now think it was overkill and half inch screws would have been a sufficient modification.

Thank you so much for your answer.
I think I'll forego adding the extra wood.
Now I just need to find my file box in my 1200 sq. ft. storage warehouse that I haven't been in for 3-4 years... LOL
