Choosing a language 'because it's better' will not lead to a product's success, but 'choose the right tool' - choosing a language due to faster development time will do. People won't like your app because it's developed with C++ 'so you have a big brain eh?' but yeah if you choose C++ cuz you are comfortable with it and the framework then go ahead.

If you are talking about something like online games or embedded systems or just for the sake of learning about algorithms/data structure then sure. From the business standpoint, rapid development is probably more profitable than miliseconds performance optimization.

I stick to the old fashion programming techniques. Takes time but it's more robust and reliable in the long run and it will cost you nothing, especially a new developer or learner who uses C++, C++ is a very very difficult to grasp programming language but it's worth it once you do, you need and a lot of patience, you must have their burning desire to become your own programmer and developer. I will highly recommend it, there are many other programming languages out there who are equally as good, but they all have different things to offer. So getting to know some of them is always a plus.

Is it legal to download these apps for free if they are not supported?
I will tell you this. If you can learn a programming language, there's a lot of transfer, so it's not a waste of time to learn c++. learning a new programming language becomes a matter of syntax, and a all the concepts remain the same, so you'll be alright.

@@ammgnero that's good. I'm tooling around in clion will c++ because I'm learning it now, but as I'm isn't it, I'm noticing that there's no form tool to make input and output lol like an application. Even visual basic does that, so I'm concerned learning the language will be a waste of time other than to learn some very low level things about what computers do. I think it's worthwhile, but I can say after starting to learn Java and having learned vba, some visual basic and having a degree in web development with scripting knowledge, c++ is a very picky little bitch.

About C++, she is the wife who makes your life miserable, but at the end of the day you still love her. It gives you so much control in the game industry and almost every pc- related material applications or other, plus the language is fun. one thing is sure of, it will not be a waste of time. I said in my first comment(that I might learned the wrong thing) because for some reason I thought you can make android apps with it, although you can but it will be hard and not the best route, as I said very powerful language for the pc but not quite the best for the mobile
Yes and No. Technically, no because there are a few lines of java code that act as a translation unit between Android's OS which is written in Java, and the C++ code that you will be adding. You can make an Android app using mostly only C++ code along with a few lines of Java Code.

c++ is for hardware communication and not really for apps it seems.
