Many thanks for this video. I’m rewiring my ‘79 Europiccola, with the double switch that you covered, and this video REALLY helped me get my head around how the whole thing works.
This is an example of going above and beyond. Educating the masses on basics of electrical systems. Thanks so much for all the knowledge sharing you do sir.
Thank you, thank you, thank you...I was able to repair my La Pavoni ... it was just the switch but without your help i would be just starring at it...great Videos and very helpful
I have a question... I want to install a 3 prong plug that is not on my 1971 europicola and in all these videos I dont see where I can connect the 3rd wire... do I ground it to body? can you show that upgrade? I understand it is a ton safer when grounded...
Hello, I have a 1999 Europiccola which was left on with a dry reservoir for about 1.5 hrs. Now, the unit will not turn on. Examined the wiring & nothing appears abnormal. The only thing visibly wrong is the plastic housing protecting the glass tube is melted at the base. What would you guess might new the most likely thing wrong? Thanks for your videos & advice!
Hello , I want to add an on/off/on toggle switch to still look vintage have the safety of on off switch plus 3 prong power chord... if you have diagram or would like to make video that would be awesome! if not then Im assuming same as before.. 3rd prong goes to flange and then wire the other 2 wires as though it was a 2 prong 3 position switch?

But... but... you didn’t talk about the three-way switch machine and that’s the one I need help with.
