Pretty sure a lot of people, including myself, saw the thumbnail and were disappointed to see the sledgehammer doesn't actually get shredded
It was the sledgehammer scene that was shown in my fd tread to bait me on YT. As usual butterflies are not skyscraper size...
saw pepperoni being sliced faster than i could see it happening- forgot about sledgehammers
I was thinking the sledgehammer might cause the shredder to break. Clearly, there is no way the shredder's teeth (presumably standard steel) are stronger than a solid block of the same material.
Saved me some time
Thanks you saved me 14 minutes of my life - which I will now waste on another video lol
The narration was absolutely essential to this video. I would have been hopelessly confused without it.
You could try watching to see what each machine was doing.... to figure out what each machine was supposed to do. Only an idiot couldn't figure that out.
Are you sure? Many times the narration was wrong in his description
I'm also glad he put in that intro telling me I was about to watch a video of cool machines. Never would have guessed from the title and thumbnail.
@@johnd5398 people now a days can't even understand sarcastic comments.. seriously
@@Earnwithme2163people can't understand tone in writing form - eye roll
It would even be more satisfying if there were NO COMMENTARY!! Do you really think we don’t know what is happening?
And the "strained" silly voice is a really puts one off. I had to turn the commentary off after a minute, really annoying.
Sounds of 👍🏻
Theres this little button you can use …it will mute it…there…whiny problem solved
@@mikek4610 exactly key board warriors think they r being smart when infact like most of them they live in a basement and wish they had a real friend 😂
I turn down the volume for this annoying voice.
"Smoother than a knife through hot butter." No. That's not the expression.
As soon as he said that all I could hear for the rest of the video was how stupid he sounds.
It’s better
Well, he also isn’t wrong.
That helicopter with a saw bring a whole new meaning to "Chopper."
Scary if near it, cool from afar.
🗣️ GET TO THE CHOPPER IN MY BEST Schwarzenegger VOICE 👈🏻 YES I HAD TO SIRI THAT NAME 😝
That was in a bond movie in the 70s
@@ivanwatling7844 I vaguely remember that.
Man, quit dat, too funny.
Best of luck to those guy’s handling the lead with no gloves on.
they are wearing gloves, light tan color though which makes them a little tricky to see.
@@silentepsilon888 Still, they're wearing short sleeves
The clip at 8:30 is welding (tig Welding without filler) and is not done propperly
What's amazing to me more than the machines themselves are what it took to make these machines. Whenever I watched "How Things Are Made", I was always more fascinated with the machines making the things and how THEY were made.
I agree . Genius engineers.
Absolutely!
Computers and math.
Good side of Humanity
As an engineer I ask myself what's the point? For centuries we and levels of helpers have been making more efficient machinery and processes, generating higher yields. And what happens to those yields? People just keep pooping out more and more babies who are less and less productive. Whining about how their generation is somehow not getting what it deserves. Phooey.
"Lumberjacks can finally forget about backpain" no, now they will have back pain from standing all day looking at a machine
Each machine all I could think is how much it would hurt to get a limb caught in it 😬
Lol! You're not kidding.
if you or really anyone, is 'getting back pain from just standing' then you need to see a chiropractor... you should not get backpain from walking long distances or standing a long time; that's how humans are made
You get a sore back from standing?
Because now they have to lug around a 300kg machine as well as an axe and a chainsaw.
That's not soldering, that's just TIG welding without filler wire.
Wouldn't that be MIG welding?
@@nicholasgibson8483 no. That's a TIG torch. No wire feed
They also edited out most of the time the arc is on. I don't get it, TIG is cool enough without faking it.
"A knife through hot butter" one of many gems in this video
Glad I wasn’t the only one who noticed lol wtf
Omg thank you! I was scratching my nuts and then immediately went to my head after hearing that! Good call 😂
LOL. I scrolled down to make this point, thinking nobody else would have noticed. I love a good malapropism, me.
huh why is that a gem
@@PrincessHarmonyMoonlight Because the correct phrase is ''like a hot knife through butter''.
The Knife is hot, not the butter.
Hot butter is liquid. You don't need a knife to cut liquid
11:52 for the thumbnail!
You’re very welcome
Drat! They blueballed us!
Two things should go, the script writer and the voice over.
Some of the more interesting of the videos you cut short, before we had a chance to really understand what was happening.
This video is best muted. Whoever is doing the voice just stop.
Did anyone else have the thought “ how do they get the dimples on the golf balls?” And then get really disappointed when they didn’t show how.
So many of the clips are cut short that I had to check if the video was uploaded on April 1st. It wasn't, which makes it even more infuriating.
I had the same fe…..
12:18-"your car will never rust again" convince me of that after three winters in Minnesota!
Fun fact: chain link fence material is called “fabric” so being weaved on a loom like fabric is actually accurate and is probably why it’s called that
I mean who said fabric had to be silk, cotton, or polyester? metal is just as valid
Fun fact: the past tense of weave is wove or woven. Weaved is simply not a word.
Although I did getted what you meant, here you wanted woven.
And half of the terms you are using are completely wrong. You just wing it clueless boy?
6:33
I worked as mechanic (millwright) in one of the companies that used these machines. When they break down, it's a challenge and it's very satisfying when you can repair them perfectly.
Hammers inside the grinder starts at 11:51.
What a letdown lol
😭
That carbon fiber weaver is so cool. Maybe we'll have a space elevator come to life sooner than we thought
Look man you got to love precision it's the most beautiful thing in the world and it's all around us in nature that's why we had to perfect it in our endeavors
Actually perfection isn't found in nature. That's why "organic shapes" are called organic because it's not perfect or semtrical..it's natural. There are mathematical symmetries and scientific rhythm to natural things like sprialing seashells...but even nature isn't perfect. You can't even find an actual 90 degree angle or a perfect circle in nature.
Nice video editing at 8:30. That's welding not soldering.
“A knife through hot butter” I mean, technically right, but pretty much anything can go through hot butter… 😂
BWHAHAHA!!! I was hoping someone pointed that out.
A hot knife through butter! not A knife through hot butter.
各マシーンの稼働も見事ですが、これらを造り製造に携わる人々にも天晴れです👏👏👏🎌🎌🎌
The voice over is so annoying I stopped watching.
Wow amazing machineries.
To paraphrase a comment I've seen before, there are some amazingly specific pieces of machinery in this world!
yes, we watched the video.
The helicopter saw seemed unnecessary 😂
Shows a TIG welder doing some tacking with no fill, "this device can solder so good it's like magic" 😂🤣
I know right, also it was cut repeatedly to not show how long it takes to melt the edges
Some amazing machines. 👍😁
My productivity has skyrocketed thanks to the wonders of Amazing Tools!
Love how the two pieces joined at 10:00 show no visible seam. Such precision!
Just to make sure people know that it is not one piece that has been cut in half. One side was one piece of material and the other side was from another. Most of these you see are done with EDM (Electrical discharge machining).
@@frantickoala994 meaning cut with lasers?
@@erwinj9697 no en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Electrical_discharge_machining
@@frantickoala994 The trick is to brush pattern them AFTER cutting and joining them. THAT makes the cut disappear.
I agree, accuracy of that complex mirror image part is fascinating!
Wow amazing video
Good journey and good process .. good job
I didn't think it was possible but "vocal fry" is still annoying. Look it up.
Incredible work machines.
michaelBailorSR1 from Ithacan NY state
Good work 👌
This is amazing. They've taken something that should have been awesome and made it dull as hell.
I have to say, the helicopter saw was pretty impressive.
Why does the speakover sound like he is trying not to fart.
Wow amazing beautiful video,
I wonder if the workers made half as much as money as this video
Which machine would I like to try out? Well back in the day I did drive an overhead gantry steel scrap crane at BHP Port Kembla here in Australia before graduating to driving to overhead cranes that lifted and moved steel plate and even drove a mill crane that was capable of lifting over a thousand tons. Best part of my job was we were encouraged to multi skill so I got to use some pretty massive and awesome machinery from cranes, turnover tables to paint machines and shears that could cut steel plate up to 4inches thick or use a machine called a leveller that could make steel plates perfectly flat. Great video thanks for sharing. 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
I always thought the taffy puller looked like fun. So mesmerizing and satisfying to watch.
That water pressure strength really surprised me!
great video thanx
Was so unsatisfying that most of the videos were cut short
Looking very good 👍
Awesome! I'm an old timer and am impressed by that kind of te5
The guy who narrated this video sounds like he started puberty at age three.
Definitely the most pleasing video for any and or all conservative and/or liberals
"watch how this machine puts 5 million people out of a job every year".....
Fantastic ❤
Incredible work machines
After while, we're all gonna lose our jobs "thanks" to machines.
The narrator has an incredibly irritating voice. He sounds like he is making fun of us for needing to be told what we are watching.
harvesting the salmon caviar wasn't "hypnotic," it was brutal and cruel.
Being an ex instrument maker it sometimes surprises me how slow these machines can be.
Yea my cars body might never rust after the dip but what about the frame?
Indigenous idea 👌
10:57. The knife has to be hot to slice butter. Hot butter would simply melt!!
Came here looking for this comment
Same here lol
Dude often doesnt make sense and gives wrong info.
Doesn't mean that the knife wouldn't go through it though.
hi! welder here, 8:27 is tig welding; not soldering. this weld in particular may look superficially good but were I to yell loudly, it would sunder like an autumn leaf. want super satisfying welds? look for someone good at "metal core mig welding", I got some welds in that process that looked like dragon scales... and could stand up to abuse. conversely, properly done tig welds have temper colours that look like a beautiful iridescent sheen.
by the way, the guy messed up his second tack and its retry. over all: 3/10, good arc distance, adequate weld placement, the worst weld penetration I have ever seen. "lacks commitment"
Me clicking on the video to expect the image on the thumbnail to be included:
This video gave me nostalgia cuz it reminded me of How it's Made
"Pause everything"
I've been sat here for 3 hrs waiting on my next instructions.
toffee?! no damn it!, it's taffy
Amazing explanation ❤😂🎉
Love you work😊
There's a lot of missing context to this video. But still entertaining.
Great start, "pause everything", i did, now what. Guess i'll just go to the next video.
I’m glad he didn’t shred the sledgehammer. That would have been flagrant.
I mean, at least the thumbnail wasn't clickbait.
muy bueno....felicidades
Great work
The helicopter saw and the junk yard magnet on metal was cool
the vocal fry is hilarious
I love manufacturing and machines that make machines with bright minds. My favorite here is the pineapple cutter and the metal shredder, but the simple indestructible hammer takes the cake!😒
A hammer is NOT indestructible if you have an acetylene torch~!!
That carpet cleaning machine 🫶
Nice video
Unpleasant to be enjoying watching machines do their thing and then abruptly get faced with salmon being chopped open and their guts spilled out.
Yas vary interested video I'm full watch
Yooooo the helicopter saw was insane
आप की विडियो बहुत पसंद आई सर और
आपके चैनल से मुझे पता चलती है। फैक्टरी कैसे काम होता है

I liked your video
HAMMER WINS! No FATALITY! 😅
Very good 👍
i would rather eat glass than watch this video for more than ten seconds
10:55 lol. The saying is "hot knife through butter" not "knife through hot butter".
Very helpful machine
Bro, the voice., Relax.. You do not have to try so hard with the inflections!
Beautiful.
Nice work
The video would have been more satisfying if the narrator spoke like an actual person.
Narration might be the one thing I really hate about those videos...
Thank you. ..
Good work
Helpful ❤
they weren't lying, there DO be some specific ass machines out there!
