    Definitely a bucket list,was here last December and the views are out of this world. No camera will ever do this place justice, you have to see it to believe it.

    It's a beautiful place. But, at Djuma Game Reserve, it would be possible to get James Hendley's autograph.

      stunning doesn't do it justice. and yes i was joking $1400 is nothing. but i've just seen it's actually $1500 next year and that is my limit so now i won't go

    • @SwitchingReins
      @SwitchingReins 7 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      OldTrafford110 its $800 in the off season and covers the safaris and food. Still a spendy trip, but slightly more reasonable. I think I'll be sticking to the live stream for now though.

  • @SakunaSwonaChannel

    I want to know how much it cost mega buck for sure! some of the viewers now thinking about they next holiday?!..

    • @george8873
      @george8873 7 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      $1400 a night on peak season per guest, $1100 a night in mid-season per guest, and $825 a night per guest during the off season. That includes the safaris, food and so on. Would be worth it just for the views alone in my opinion if you have the money.

    • @SakunaSwonaChannel
      @SakunaSwonaChannel 7 ปีที่แล้ว

      Oh thank you George, This is US dollars right?..if it is I need to work it out in £..even I got the money will need to think about the season? It's worth to pay $1400 a night or $825 would be just as exciting..what can you see? What it s big different? What you think?
      ..May be just a day Tour would do to experience it..

    There's a lot of good leopard habitat gone for the sake of wealthy tourists. Hard to balance, huh. Oh, they've turned locals into suppliers of cash crops too. How philanthropic.

    • @jeffer2350
      @jeffer2350 6 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      While I am certainly not rich and will likely never be able to afford this place I think you are wrong.
      Habitat loss for leopards and other animals is for the huge part due to human over-population. I doubt there are so many rich tourists causing a need for so many resorts and farms that it registers anything at all on the meter. Lower income people tend to have more children per family than higher income people. More local people means a need for more farms which means the wild animals get pushed out of their territories (or poisoned, shot, etc.)

      @@jeffer2350 We don't move to Aminal land in Africa. How much land is reserved for animals in Europe again?

    • @jeffer2350
      @jeffer2350 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      Carol,
      You have already moved to animal lands and ruined it. Elephants can no longer migrate like they need. The cats are decreasing in population as they are killed regularly by farmers. Sixty percent of the world's animal life is gone and you want to invade the areas they do live with your tourist vans and camera crews to disturb the habitat further. The people in charge don't have a clue about preserving the environment. You only care about your wallets and egos.
      And I am not claiming that any other continent does any better. I also make comments about treatment of animals in other places and especially my own country.

  • @lizzalee1645
    @lizzalee1645 7 ปีที่แล้ว +4

    Looks beautiful but 1400.00 per night is crazy expensive. They do not feed the animals or care for them in any way. You go just to look at them in their natural habitat. The overhead cannot be that high. Makes you wonder if it's about conservation of animals or the all mighty dollar.

    • @msssky
      @msssky 7 ปีที่แล้ว

      i'm sure that place helps villiages around there by hiring locals and shopping local

    • @bonnie448
      @bonnie448 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      The staff are making a good living, did you look at the size of the place? How can you say the overhead would not be high? Plus the overhead is not what you are paying for, you are paying for the best service, spectacular views, unknown except for us here sitting at our computers. Eating our own dull food, and cleaning our own rooms. lol

    Videos like these make me wonder whether you lot are really into conservation or merely exploiting wild life to attract rich tourists and make money.
