Travelling to Uttarakhand, we all must have heard the term 'prayag', which means confluence. There are five such places or prayags in Uttarakhand, each holding immense religious significance for Hindus. These are Devprayag, Vishnuprayag, Nandaprayag, Karnaprayag and Rudraprayag and, together,.these are known as the Panch Prayag. One of the most important of these five prayags, is Devprayag. It is a pretty small town in Tehri Garhwal district, Uttarakhand, set on the Rishikesh-Badrinath Highway.
