Excellent interpretation of this wonderful song, congratulations! I hope you could perform an interpretation of 'Riders on the Storm' or 'Love Street'.
One of my favorite songs too! It's always hard for me to choose what the Doors song to make first because I love them all snd they are so unique and different .
@@marysattic This one always stuck out to me because the original has 6/4 measure going into the chorus.... Robby is such an amazing writer. Just wait until you get into their live stuff! Ray had so much variations to his live solos... it's like hearing them for the first time, the songs feel different
@@voidburner8271 Wow, and while I was playing it I couldn't figure out how can that constant harmony change in chorus sounds so soft and fluid and that's because of the rhythm ! By the way it is very common in classical music as I know Thank you ! Will discover more about their live performances ✨
@@marysattic if you want to hear some crazy rhythm changes check out a song called " enneagram" by Egg, the live (1972) version is the best. I think the intro is in 25/8 💀💀..They're kind of like The Doors expect much more technical and whereas The Doors lacked a bass player, Egg lacked a guitarist.
Sounds so weird but like you can't stop listen to this stuff, the constant rhythm changes and amazing sound of keyboards have something hypnotic, love it. Rhythm is really crazy, it's hard to count sometimes , sounds cool ) Thank you☺️☺️
Heya! That was very nice. I love this song, but always felt it spoilt by bombastic strings and horns. And I'd never appreciated the beautiful keys Ray must have composed, (unless you were improvising). In which case, brava! You brought it back to the beautiful song that it was, and could be. Thanks.
oye tocas geniaaaalll, que buenos cover!! me encantan, con audifonos y ojos cerrados, una verdadera experiencia jajajjajaja... naa saludoosss desde chile ... mis likes y suscripción para usted
Sounds great, a beautiful underrated Doors song. Somewhere Ray and Jim were listening and smiling.
Thank you so much!
WELL DESERVED@@marysattic! The Chorus here is a real Something. I'd love to sing to this accompanement. We'd rip the audience into pieces 🙂

Doors could do dead simple 12 bar blues and then subtle complex tunes like this. So much musical talent in that group. Nice job playing it!

Cool. I wish I had some kind of talent. Check out the Doors doing Wishful Sinful on the 1969 PBS special. No audience, just the Doors.
