After seeing the dragonball super superhero movie, it makes sense for the movie to take place after the Granolah arc. Pan being revealed to be 3 years old in the movie is enough to know when it takes place in the dragonball timeline. There is additional evidence, such as the movie taking place at least a year after dragonball super Broly (giving enough time for the Moro arc to take place too, which takes place shortly after the Broly incident), Broly being kept on Beerus' planet as a way to keep him away from Frieza (which could quite easily fit with Frieza acquiring his black Frieza form), Goten and Trunks physically growing up which didn't occur during the Moro arc, and Goku, Vegeta, and Broly training together in general (which could theoretically be to prepare for the possible final battle with Frieza). Not to mention that Piccolo and Gohan achieved forms in the dragonball super superhero movie that they didn't show in the Moro arc, as well as having Gamma 1 as a potential ally.

After seeing this movie I'm leaning more towards this happening after the Planet Cereal arc. That arc was used to show us Goku & Vegetas new progression and this movie was used to show us the progression of everybody on Earth while they've been gone. I'm just wondering how things are going to progress now.
I feel that the safe option for Toei is to just follow a version of the manga continuity, with Moro and Granolah coming in after Brody but before Superhero, but the concept of Moro and Granolah happening after Superhero does sound like an interesting to change up the adaptation if need be.
It’s always possible that, when the anime comes back, they decide to redo the Broly story like what they did with BoG and Resurrection F. Then they could easily follow the format of the manga. But who knows, anything is possible.

I think that’s the safest bet, Goku and vegeta go back to Beerus planet after granola arc to train (and bring along Broly) in order to beat frieza. Only weird thing I can think of is that the movie didn’t mention Moro or Gas, but that can easily be overlooked lol
I hope they do something with Goten and Trunks in the future. Something like Whis instructing them to train their sons together with him and Whis helps the weaker one catch up to the stronger one. Then he tells them to train their own sons on their own for x amount of time for a competition between them. To me both Vegeta and Goku had the mindsets that would mesh with them wanting to train them in Z. Vegeta seeing the earth as the future for saiyans and Goku not even getting revived against cell because he wanted other heroes to arise. Also teaching is how you learn mastery.
That could be a really cool dynamic. I’d love to see more Goten and Trunks but it’d be fun to see how they, as aged up teens or adults, would act under a teacher. I liked what we saw when Piccolo trained them in the Buu Saga so I’d love to see the two he brought back into relevance that way.
If anything, that should be the next Super arc where we finally get 1 or 2 huge characters arcs for Goten and Trunks. Like the first one for them should take place ether after Super Hero if Super Hero is used in the manga, after the recent chapter or during the Granolah Arc where we see what the boys where doing during the event. Goten should also be the main protagonist of these two arcs while Trunks should be the second main character. So during the first arc, Future Trunks and Future Mai (Future Mai should be pregnant as wel) and after they see that Vegeta and Goku are gone, they hang out with Goten, Trunks, Gohan, Videl, ChiChi, and Bulma. Also during this, Goten is finally 14 years old and present Trunks is now 15 years old and this is where (If this arc takes place during or a week after the Granolah or If Super Hero is not used in the manga) they finally are going through puberty and they’re their growth spurts cause that would be hella dumb if Goten and Trunks at 14 and 15 years old still have their little kid bodies, so now they are looking like actual teenagers if this arc takes place during or a little after the Granolah arc. Anyway, there should be a segment where Goten worried for Goku’s and Vegeta’s sake proceeds to tell the group he wishes he could do more to protect his family and friends as well as someday wanting to visit the other universes. Upon hearing this, Future Trunks then asks Chi Chi if it’s okay for him to train Goten. While Chi Chi is skeptical at first, she worried for Goku’s sake and after hearing Future Trunks’s wisdom decides she’s okay with Future Trunks training and mentoring Goten. Then for two weeks, Goten and Trunks are trained and mentored by Future Trunks and Gohan. The training is also starting to put a lot more muscle on Goten and Trunks as well as accelerate their Growth spurts. As the they keep training, Future Trunks is also giving the boys wisdom about life while helping push them past their limits. They also use a Gravity Chamber for training after Present Trunks offered up the idea to use it for training, so they get dramatically more stronger. Future Trunks also starts teaching Goten the Big Bang attack and with Gohan’s help, teaches present Trunks Masenko. And in the end of the arc, Goten and Trunks should show a full power and mastered Super Saiyan form while also having a sparring match with each other where Goten and Trunks finally achieve Ssj2 and get massive Zenkai boosts due to finally achieving Super Saiyan 2 (Also if this is this happening during the Granolah Arc, then Oracle Fish should say the strongest fighter emerges right as Goten achieves Super Saiyan 2). Then the second character arc should be about them fighting against Androids to save ChiChi and Bulma. So during the beginning of this arc, ChiChi and Bulma should be kidnapped by Androids (Powerful Androids that are on Super Saiyan Blue level) which should then lead a search team to try to find them. We then get scenes of the boys struggling against the villains as well as see Videl get Captured too. Then Future Trunks after seeing the boys become much more motivated to defeat the main villain as well as see that Goten and Trunks got huge Zenkai boosts due to getting injured by the villains, he has Goten and Trunks train with and be mentored by Android 17 in the Hyperbolic Time Chamber where Goten, Trunks under Android 17’s tutelage spend a year of training as we see them getting stronger, become more skilled and serious, and Goten and Trunks accelerate their growth spurts even further. So after spending a year in the ROSAT, Android 17 leaves to go help out with the search team while Goten and Trunks spend one more year in the Hyperbolic Time Chamber so they can become strong enough to defeat the Androids as well as get on a whole different level of power. As Android 17 leaves, Android Future Trunks then comes in to the ROSAT as he feels he can greatly motivate Goten and Trunks to help improve them even further while they complete their second year of training in the ROSAT, which he does and helps push Goten and Trunks past their limits while also improving their fighting abilities and fighting styles. Future Trunks also has them train in Gravity Chamber that he brought from a capsule as he feels that using a Gravity Chamber in the ROSAT will help the boys get on a whole new level of power, which it does and it does dramatically. Then Android 17 and Gohan deal with a bunch of powerful Androids and put up a good effort before retreating to the base while also capturing Piccolo. Then Goten and Trunks come out of the Time Chamber after spending two years where they are dramatically stronger and more powerful than before as well as having mastered Super Saiyan (Like they are crazy strong now due to training hardcore in the time chamber for two years and using the Gravity Chamber for their second year in the ROSAT under Future Trunks’s tutelage). They also should be become almost as tall as Vegeta and become as muscular as Android Saga Future Trunks (If this arc takes place during or sometime after the Granolah Arc.). Goten should also start developing the Hairstyle he had in End Of Z. Also while Goten still is innocent and Goofy and Trunks is still cocky and flashy, both of the boys start becoming a lot more serious, start developing a Future Trunks battle mentality, and start having some Black Air Force energy due to being mentored by both Android 17 and Future Trunks in ROSAT. Then they join Android 17 and Gohan to go help find the others. However Trunks and Future Trunks leave first while Goten stays for a minute in ROSAT to mediate for a little as a way to get prepared for the battle. And in the final battle, Goten and Trunks shine greatly where them in their Mastered Super Saiyan 2 forms get W’s over more Androids as well as team up with Gohan and Future Trunks to defeat the main villains, then everyone should give Goten time to charge up where he finally achieves Ssj3 and is actually the one that defeats the main villain of this arc. Then we should get a part after the defeat of the main villain, and this where Chi Chi realizes she can’t stop Goten from constantly training. She then finally decides she’s okay with Goten being an active Z fighter right as she and Goten embrace each other. Then towards the end, Goku and Vegeta then decide and tell Goten and Trunks that they’re finally going officially start properly training and mentoring them to finally start their true journeys which then leads to Goten and Trunks finally getting featured and staring in more arcs. P.S. If Super Hero is used in the manga, then everything I said should still happen, but give Goten and Trunks their End Of Z designs after they do the Hyperbolic Time Chamber training as well give Future Trunks and Mai a daughter or son.
I’m going to say I do not like Super Hero hyping up Gohan and Piccolo then let them get cucked in the Moro arc. I’d prefer if the anime continues with the manga route. And have the movie take place after the Moro and Granolah arc
This is all fine and dandy, but VJump already published an official promotional article that specifically stated that Super Hero takes place after Granola and Moro with pictures from the manga. Changing the timeline so drastically I don’t see happening. (Although interesting and has potential)
To be honest, I always figured that this new movie was set after the Granolah Arc, and they haven't said anything about Moro or Granolah was because they didn't want to spoil anime only watchers. But the idea of it been after the Broly Movie would be a interesting idea. 🤔 Also question when are you covering the DBS Manga again?
It’s definitely possible that the movie is set after Granolah, we’ll just have to wait and see. Also my apologies on that! I took a break from reviewing chapters and they’ve kinda built up over time lol. I plan on getting back to reviewing the chapters soon and I’ll catch up as quick as I can.
@@InnovativeJdawg granolah and moro just the side story arc in movie continuity. Reminds me of goku black arc. The main event of the 2016 anime were bog, rof and tournament of power. U6 and future trunks just side story. The manga was focused in fleshing the side story arc. Jiren backstory.
I think they can easily adjust the time placement/everyone’s age for the anime adaptations of the manga arcs. Characters that have significant age/design differences from SH to the Moro and Granolah arcs don’t really play important roles to those plots anyways (I’m looking at Goten, Trunks, and Pan). So I think retconning those details wouldn’t make a huge difference. Plus I feel like adding characters like Broly, Lemo, Cheelai, Teen Trunks and Goten, Kid Pan can add a lot more dynamic to the supporting cast in the anime if they chose to adapt and rework the manga arcs
For me I see the manga and the movies (bog, rof, broly and super heroes) as the true canon to Toriyamas main story as of now. Its been made clear many times that the Broly movie is clearly canon to the manga, Broly has been referenced in DBS chapter 43 and the current arc has shown this a lot of references from the Broly movie from chapter 77 onwards. So there is no doubt that the Broly movie is canon to both anime and manga. From what I know, since the TOP arc we are still in Age 780 so after this arc it is likely there could be a timeskip where a new arc begins. As for the anime its still unclear which direction Toei will go with it, they could just decide to just follow the manga from the Moro arc onwards for all we know. So for that reason I am assuming that both manga and future anime arcs of Moro and Granola will likely take place before the Super Heroes in terms of the DB timeline.
It’s even possible that Toei will decide to redo the Broly movie when the anime comes back, just like what happened with BoG and RoF. They could then have that natural progression into both Moro and Granolah before redoing Super Hero again, but who knows. At this point, anything is possible really.

No. Akira toriyama confirmed that broly is the next story in the tv show/anime. So the broly movie is the anime continuity. We know that the manga has its own version of the broly event.

This would fix the power scaling to. Because people seem to think that Gohan and Broly are more powerful than Goku and Vegeta alongside thinking that the movie adapting the manga versions of Goku and Vegeta rather than the anime.
Just a thought for those who like GT and ssj4 and want it to be canon. They could give Goten and Trunks ssj4 as they get older. It’s unlikely but it could happen and I think it’d be a good idea. It would make them more relevant and we could finally be able to see goten and trunks take on a major bad besides Buu. Also they could maybe make Ssj4 equal to Blue that way the kids don’t have to learn god ki but just master ssj transformations. I personally think that it’d be a good idea. Just what I think tho. I think it’d be pretty cool
I didn’t realize that people thought the anime and manga were cannon with each other. That has never been the case with DB, DBZ, or DB Super. The anime has always adapted the manga or done its own storylines. The DBZ movies have always been spotty with cannon with some, like The Dead Zone, being cannon, while everything else, aside from the Future Trunks and Bardock OVAs, being their own thing. My guess, the anime will adapt parts of the manga. One thing I love about super is that it has intention behind it, and the manga seems to echo this intention. The newest film doesn’t have to do anything with the manga but can still hit the important arcs. I honestly don’t think the original DBZ ending fits. Super showed it wasn’t canon and I think it should have been left out of Kai.
Yeah lots of people get confused about the manga and anime being two different entities. I'm just hoping that sometime soon, the two can coincide together and run side by side with a few slight differences here and there.
Something i'd wanna see, just for the hell of it, I think this movie should happen, and then for the anime only, they should make the Moro and Granolah arcs take place AFTER the end of Z. Not sure why but I just think that would be a good shock to the system that could allow for some interesting changes to be made.
That could be pretty interesting, mostly because specific scenes from the manga would have a new level of tension since we don’t know who lives and dies after the end of Z.

The goku and vegeta and broly training clips happen before vegeta learns ultra ego from beerus, and before goku begins training with whis to refine mastered ultra instinct as super hero shows them training with whis, the scene at post credits could be just contextual for the post credits but not indicative of it happening after the events of gohans fight with cell max, this would allow for broly to go wherever he and cheelai and lemmo go to rest and goku to refine mui and vegeta to learn the hakaishin techniques, and the progression of the moro saga to go forward. Also consider what whis said on the final page of the most recent chapter of super "maybe the strongest warrior emerged elsewhere in our universe" this could very well be him referring to beast gohan awakening. It's complicated but this could explain it. Please let me know your thoughts
But why didn't Gohan use his transformation when Moro attack this is a better time for transformation because he was going to explode the earth and the universe and also at the end of Moro's arc Gohan said that he should become stronger and that's why it makes more sense to be after Arc Gas and most importantly the movie focused on Gohan and their transformation and any transformation of Goku or Vegeta He is going to kill the agitation of the anime

The film went into production shortly after Dragon Ball Super Broly, so some things seem so wrong, like Piccolo saying that Gamma 1 and 2 seem to be as strong as Goku and Vegeta, and Gohan saying that maybe not even Goku and Vegeta could defeat Cell Max. Toyotaro is making his own version of the movie adapted to take place after the Granola Survivor Saga, and then not only will we have the real power levels of Gamma 1 and 2, Cell Max, Orange Piccolo and mainly Beast Gohan.

I kind of like to look at it, like the manga is the main story, and the animes/movies are more like theatrical adaptations of the story in the manga. So somethings are added, somethings are taken out, but the story is essentially the same with the Manga being the foundation.
IMO it just makes the most sense to have it be Broly > Superhero > Moro > Granolah and just change some aspects of the Moro and Granolah arcs to fit in better. It’d be easier for the general audience to understand than “oh this happened and then that happened so that’s why we didn’t mention this”
The anime’s writers aren’t good enough to make it work, they’d screw something up, and then all the fans like you will cope and cope and cope with all of the excuses you can for why something makes -12 sense within the story

It's very weird because the anime and manga follow two entirely different continuities. This is the first time in Dragon Ball history where the manga and anime haven't been running alongside each other, so we've hit a spot where stories could be swapped out and slightly changed to better fit a specific continuity. I'd like it if the anime jumped straight into Moro and Granolah after Broly and Super Hero.
If we’re speaking objectively solely on the time placement disregarding the continuities, Moro and Granolah technically happen before SH cause Goten and Trunks are still kids and Pan is still a baby. But for the purpose of continuity for the anime they could easily repurpose/retcon those details in the anime and age everyone up. Trunks, Goten, and Pan all have zero significance in the arcs.
I think the moro and granola arcs will happen after the events of dbs sh if both of those arcs are to be animated. It doesn't really change that much other than the fact Gohan and Piccolo will be stronger and maybe Broly could be involved. So I think they'll try to make the moro and granola arcs happen later , which isn't really that big of a deal

DBS Broly takes place after the tournament of power so I’m guessing this movie will take place after Moro and probably midway or towards the end of the Granolah arc. That way they could integrate the story and tweak it how Super did Battle of Gods and Resurrection F

I personally think they're leaving it open for speculation. They want fans to make theories. Hence why they gave Goku and Vegeta a battle just with strength and wits. Could've went all out and used UI Goku and UE Vegeta for that battle but this is just my take

Well in the Movie Goku Stated Broly is on beerus Planet to be Save from Frieza in my Mind that means its After Granolah because Black Frieza arrived. but that just might be me and they trained Broly so they are Prepping for Black Frieza (sry i am still laughing even when i write the name XD)
Dragonball Super Superhero comes before Granolah, but I'm not sure about Moro. I say this because Vegeta has the destruction ear ring during Granolah, but he isn't wearing it in Superhero, meaning he wouldn't have it. So, Granola comes after Super Hero.
Actually, the timeline has been cleared up since the movie was released. It takes place after both Moro and Granolah. Vegeta not wearing that earring just means he didn’t want to be wearing it that day, I guess
ok i think i know how this works out, super ends in age 780 and end of z takes place in age 784, broly probably takes place between late age 780- age 781 as goten and trunks dont look older like in super hero(they were around 13-14 years old which would make them about 15-17 during super hero),pan was born in age 779,meaning at this point in time,she'd be 1-2 years old, moro is said to take place after broly but it hasnt been directly stated if its after super hero, BUT, first off,we know granolah takes place pretty much right after moro, and judging by how we dont see broly on beerus's planet in the manga but in super hero we do, both those arcs likely happen before that, and super hero itself should be around age 782- age 783(if 783,then has to be before pan's 4th birthday as she is 3 years old in the film) thus, the timeline is:- Super(From Age 778-780)> Super Broly(Age 780/781)> Moro & Granolah(Age 781)> Super Hero(Age 782/783[before pan's 4th birthday])

I was thinking that at first but the whole final battle against Moro takes place on Earth too. He fuses himself with the entire planet and starts sucking away all its energy, so I feel like that would be a pretty big thing to talk about.

No it hasn't been, people just assume it takes place after because the movie is set right before the End of Z and we see Pan older than how old she was in the Moro and Granolah Arcs. Which is why it's a weird grey area, because the anime and manga follow two different continuities. It's possible for the Super Hero movie to take place after Granolah in the manga, but in the anime, it's possible that those two arcs will get adapted and told differently so then they can take place after Super Hero.

Moro --> granola --> superhero Makes more sense since than they could all team up against freeza since everybody would be training for that confrontation and if they want Gohan to be the strongest he might end up finishing off freeza in the end. It wouldn't make sense for gohan and picollo to get a new form after which he realises why he should train continuously (after his daughter got kidnapped) to then just toss that to the side and make Vegeta and Goku steal the show again. Also it makes sense that Goku and Vegeta would want to hide broly from freeza since he turned black so that he wouldn't kill him
Until it passes over, it’s entirely possible for them to still include the End of Z. It’ll ALWAYS be part of the original manga canon, but they could easily tweak things and retell it so it can fit in Super
All I have to say for this suggestion is “Yikes” the anime writers would screw up this idea so badly, not to mention how confused the fans would get. A lot of TH-camrs have this problem, they’ll run with an idea that’s inherently flawed, but they don’t know it’s flawed cause they don’t get feedback on it until a month after they record it. When making suggestions for dragon ball writing, it’s best to be aware of the intelligence of most fans(and the writers for that matter), think of the acronym KISS- Keep It Simple, Stupid
Nobody confirmed anything about what’s canon or not, mostly because Japanese culture doesn’t care about it like we do, so they just do whatever they want to do
In Super Hero? He appears twice in the movie but only for a few seconds as a quick reference, so they're not really spoilers. It's mostly just Piccolo saying that he's sleeping again so he won't be of any help to take down the Red Ribbon Army.

It’s simple. Broly > Superhero > Moro and Granolah. It really doesn’t matter what happened in the manga. They’re setting it so that Goku and Vegeta have their full ultimate forms for the conclusion of Super, which they’ll have at the end of the Moro arc. Edit: it’s also heavily implied by context, that not much time has passed since Broly.

At this point, they’re starved for material so there’s no way they leave it out of the anime. They’re also not going to stop the momentum that they have now from Broly to Superhero. After reading the latest chapters where they did finally bring in. Go on Beast to the Manga. It seems at least in the Monga continuity superheroes. Doesn't fact take place after granola becauvegeta visibly gulps. So I guess they're keeping it cannon. That gohan Beast is stronger than presently, goku and vagina.

I think akira toriyama changed events for the end of Z (super version Wich we haven’t seen yet so after doing math Wich I am bad at in my head, right now it has only been 7 years since Buu so Akira Toriyama made events and changes earlier than at the end of Z, plus in the manga uub is already 7 or something.

In Super Hero? He appears twice in the movie but only for a few seconds as a quick reference, and it takes place after the Buu Saga so he's already been introduced, unless if you mean "introduced to the world" in which case, that was already done at the start of DBS.

Did u nigas forget the moro arc started directly after broly movie and goku also mentions that they had just fought broly to the space patrollers. It goes broly-moro as we saw gohan fight but not have beast form but did retain training from top. Then it goes granolah as peace on earth occurs and gohan again doesnt train. Then immediately following granolah arc is Goku and vegetas Mastery training with broly that was clearly after they were outclassed by frieza hence vegetas trying to become better im new ways and while that training is happening dbs hero occurs so Broly-moro-granoloah-hero

After seeing the dragonball super superhero movie, it makes sense for the movie to take place after the Granolah arc. Pan being revealed to be 3 years old in the movie is enough to know when it takes place in the dragonball timeline. There is additional evidence, such as the movie taking place at least a year after dragonball super Broly (giving enough time for the Moro arc to take place too, which takes place shortly after the Broly incident), Broly being kept on Beerus' planet as a way to keep him away from Frieza (which could quite easily fit with Frieza acquiring his black Frieza form), Goten and Trunks physically growing up which didn't occur during the Moro arc, and Goku, Vegeta, and Broly training together in general (which could theoretically be to prepare for the possible final battle with Frieza). Not to mention that Piccolo and Gohan achieved forms in the dragonball super superhero movie that they didn't show in the Moro arc, as well as having Gamma 1 as a potential ally.

After seeing this movie I'm leaning more towards this happening after the Planet Cereal arc. That arc was used to show us Goku & Vegetas new progression and this movie was used to show us the progression of everybody on Earth while they've been gone.

I feel that the safe option for Toei is to just follow a version of the manga continuity, with Moro and Granolah coming in after Brody but before Superhero, but the concept of Moro and Granolah happening after Superhero does sound like an interesting to change up the adaptation if need be.
It’s always possible that, when the anime comes back, they decide to redo the Broly story like what they did with BoG and Resurrection F.
Then they could easily follow the format of the manga. But who knows, anything is possible.

I hope they do something with Goten and Trunks in the future. Something like Whis instructing them to train their sons together with him and Whis helps the weaker one catch up to the stronger one. Then he tells them to train their own sons on their own for x amount of time for a competition between them.
To me both Vegeta and Goku had the mindsets that would mesh with them wanting to train them in Z.
Vegeta seeing the earth as the future for saiyans and Goku not even getting revived against cell because he wanted other heroes to arise.
Also teaching is how you learn mastery.
That could be a really cool dynamic. I’d love to see more Goten and Trunks but it’d be fun to see how they, as aged up teens or adults, would act under a teacher.
I liked what we saw when Piccolo trained them in the Buu Saga so I’d love to see the two he brought back into relevance that way.

If anything, that should be the next Super arc where we finally get 1 or 2 huge characters arcs for Goten and Trunks. Like the first one for them should take place ether after Super Hero if Super Hero is used in the manga, after the recent chapter or during the Granolah Arc where we see what the boys where doing during the event. Goten should also be the main protagonist of these two arcs while Trunks should be the second main character. So during the first arc, Future Trunks and Future Mai (Future Mai should be pregnant as wel) and after they see that Vegeta and Goku are gone, they hang out with Goten, Trunks, Gohan, Videl, ChiChi, and Bulma. Also during this, Goten is finally 14 years old and present Trunks is now 15 years old and this is where (If this arc takes place during or a week after the Granolah or If Super Hero is not used in the manga) they finally are going through puberty and they’re their growth spurts cause that would be hella dumb if Goten and Trunks at 14 and 15 years old still have their little kid bodies, so now they are looking like actual teenagers if this arc takes place during or a little after the Granolah arc. Anyway, there should be a segment where Goten worried for Goku’s and Vegeta’s sake proceeds to tell the group he wishes he could do more to protect his family and friends as well as someday wanting to visit the other universes. Upon hearing this, Future Trunks then asks Chi Chi if it’s okay for him to train Goten. While Chi Chi is skeptical at first, she worried for Goku’s sake and after hearing Future Trunks’s wisdom decides she’s okay with Future Trunks training and mentoring Goten. Then for two weeks, Goten and Trunks are trained and mentored by Future Trunks and Gohan. The training is also starting to put a lot more muscle on Goten and Trunks as well as accelerate their Growth spurts. As the they keep training, Future Trunks is also giving the boys wisdom about life while helping push them past their limits. They also use a Gravity Chamber for training after Present Trunks offered up the idea to use it for training, so they get dramatically more stronger. Future Trunks also starts teaching Goten the Big Bang attack and with Gohan’s help, teaches present Trunks Masenko. And in the end of the arc, Goten and Trunks should show a full power and mastered Super Saiyan form while also having a sparring match with each other where Goten and Trunks finally achieve Ssj2 and get massive Zenkai boosts due to finally achieving Super Saiyan 2 (Also if this is this happening during the Granolah Arc, then Oracle Fish should say the strongest fighter emerges right as Goten achieves Super Saiyan 2). Then the second character arc should be about them fighting against Androids to save ChiChi and Bulma. So during the beginning of this arc, ChiChi and Bulma should be kidnapped by Androids (Powerful Androids that are on Super Saiyan Blue level) which should then lead a search team to try to find them. We then get scenes of the boys struggling against the villains as well as see Videl get Captured too. Then Future Trunks after seeing the boys become much more motivated to defeat the main villain as well as see that Goten and Trunks got huge Zenkai boosts due to getting injured by the villains, he has Goten and Trunks train with and be mentored by Android 17 in the Hyperbolic Time Chamber where Goten, Trunks under Android 17’s tutelage spend a year of training as we see them getting stronger, become more skilled and serious, and Goten and Trunks accelerate their growth spurts even further. So after spending a year in the ROSAT, Android 17 leaves to go help out with the search team while Goten and Trunks spend one more year in the Hyperbolic Time Chamber so they can become strong enough to defeat the Androids as well as get on a whole different level of power. As Android 17 leaves, Android Future Trunks then comes in to the ROSAT as he feels he can greatly motivate Goten and Trunks to help improve them even further while they complete their second year of training in the ROSAT, which he does and helps push Goten and Trunks past their limits while also improving their fighting abilities and fighting styles. Future Trunks also has them train in Gravity Chamber that he brought from a capsule as he feels that using a Gravity Chamber in the ROSAT will help the boys get on a whole new level of power, which it does and it does dramatically. Then Android 17 and Gohan deal with a bunch of powerful Androids and put up a good effort before retreating to the base while also capturing Piccolo. Then Goten and Trunks come out of the Time Chamber after spending two years where they are dramatically stronger and more powerful than before as well as having mastered Super Saiyan (Like they are crazy strong now due to training hardcore in the time chamber for two years and using the Gravity Chamber for their second year in the ROSAT under Future Trunks’s tutelage). They also should be become almost as tall as Vegeta and become as muscular as Android Saga Future Trunks (If this arc takes place during or sometime after the Granolah Arc.). Goten should also start developing the Hairstyle he had in End Of Z. Also while Goten still is innocent and Goofy and Trunks is still cocky and flashy, both of the boys start becoming a lot more serious, start developing a Future Trunks battle mentality, and start having some Black Air Force energy due to being mentored by both Android 17 and Future Trunks in ROSAT. Then they join Android 17 and Gohan to go help find the others. However Trunks and Future Trunks leave first while Goten stays for a minute in ROSAT to mediate for a little as a way to get prepared for the battle. And in the final battle, Goten and Trunks shine greatly where them in their Mastered Super Saiyan 2 forms get W’s over more Androids as well as team up with Gohan and Future Trunks to defeat the main villains, then everyone should give Goten time to charge up where he finally achieves Ssj3 and is actually the one that defeats the main villain of this arc. Then we should get a part after the defeat of the main villain, and this where Chi Chi realizes she can’t stop Goten from constantly training. She then finally decides she’s okay with Goten being an active Z fighter right as she and Goten embrace each other. Then towards the end, Goku and Vegeta then decide and tell Goten and Trunks that they’re finally going officially start properly training and mentoring them to finally start their true journeys which then leads to Goten and Trunks finally getting featured and staring in more arcs.
P.S. If Super Hero is used in the manga, then everything I said should still happen, but give Goten and Trunks their End Of Z designs after they do the Hyperbolic Time Chamber training as well give Future Trunks and Mai a daughter or son.
I’m going to say I do not like Super Hero hyping up Gohan and Piccolo then let them get cucked in the Moro arc. I’d prefer if the anime continues with the manga route. And have the movie take place after the Moro and Granolah arc

To be honest, I always figured that this new movie was set after the Granolah Arc, and they haven't said anything about Moro or Granolah was because they didn't want to spoil anime only watchers. @@InnovativeJdawg granolah and moro just the side story arc in movie continuity. Reminds me of goku black arc. The main event of the 2016 anime were bog, rof and tournament of power. U6 and future trunks just side story. The manga was focused in fleshing the side story arc. Jiren backstory.
I think they can easily adjust the time placement/everyone’s age for the anime adaptations of the manga arcs. Characters that have significant age/design differences from SH to the Moro and Granolah arcs don’t really play important roles to those plots anyways (I’m looking at Goten, Trunks, and Pan). So I think retconning those details wouldn’t make a huge difference.
Plus I feel like adding characters like Broly, Lemo, Cheelai, Teen Trunks and Goten, Kid Pan can add a lot more dynamic to the supporting cast in the anime if they chose to adapt and rework the manga arcs

For me I see the manga and the movies (bog, rof, broly and super heroes) as the true canon to Toriyamas main story as of now. Its been made clear many times that the Broly movie is clearly canon to the manga, Broly has been referenced in DBS chapter 43 and the current arc has shown this a lot of references from the Broly movie from chapter 77 onwards. So there is no doubt that the Broly movie is canon to both anime and manga.
From what I know, since the TOP arc we are still in Age 780 so after this arc it is likely there could be a timeskip where a new arc begins. As for the anime its still unclear which direction Toei will go with it, they could just decide to just follow the manga from the Moro arc onwards for all we know. So for that reason I am assuming that both manga and future anime arcs of Moro and Granola will likely take place before the Super Heroes in terms of the DB timeline.
It’s even possible that Toei will decide to redo the Broly movie when the anime comes back, just like what happened with BoG and RoF.
They could then have that natural progression into both Moro and Granolah before redoing Super Hero again, but who knows.
At this point, anything is possible really.

No. Akira toriyama confirmed that broly is the next story in the tv show/anime. So the broly movie is the anime continuity. We know that the manga has its own version of the broly event.

This would fix the power scaling to. Because people seem to think that Gohan and Broly are more powerful than Goku and Vegeta alongside thinking that the movie adapting the manga versions of Goku and Vegeta rather than the anime.
Just a thought for those who like GT and ssj4 and want it to be canon. They could give Goten and Trunks ssj4 as they get older. It’s unlikely but it could happen and I think it’d be a good idea. It would make them more relevant and we could finally be able to see goten and trunks take on a major bad besides Buu. Also they could maybe make Ssj4 equal to Blue that way the kids don’t have to learn god ki but just master ssj transformations. I personally think that it’d be a good idea. Just what I think tho. I think it’d be pretty cool

I didn’t realize that people thought the anime and manga were cannon with each other. That has never been the case with DB, DBZ, or DB Super. The anime has always adapted the manga or done its own storylines. The DBZ movies have always been spotty with cannon with some, like The Dead Zone, being cannon, while everything else, aside from the Future Trunks and Bardock OVAs, being their own thing. My guess, the anime will adapt parts of the manga. One thing I love about super is that it has intention behind it, and the manga seems to echo this intention. The newest film doesn’t have to do anything with the manga but can still hit the important arcs. I honestly don’t think the original DBZ ending fits. Super showed it wasn’t canon and I think it should have been left out of Kai.
Yeah lots of people get confused about the manga and anime being two different entities. I'm just hoping that sometime soon, the two can coincide together and run side by side with a few slight differences here and there.
Something i'd wanna see, just for the hell of it, I think this movie should happen, and then for the anime only, they should make the Moro and Granolah arcs take place AFTER the end of Z. Not sure why but I just think that would be a good shock to the system that could allow for some interesting changes to be made.
That could be pretty interesting, mostly because specific scenes from the manga would have a new level of tension since we don’t know who lives and dies after the end of Z.

The goku and vegeta and broly training clips happen before vegeta learns ultra ego from beerus, and before goku begins training with whis to refine mastered ultra instinct as super hero shows them training with whis, the scene at post credits could be just contextual for the post credits but not indicative of it happening after the events of gohans fight with cell max, this would allow for broly to go wherever he and cheelai and lemmo go to rest and goku to refine mui and vegeta to learn the hakaishin techniques, and the progression of the moro saga to go forward. Also consider what whis said on the final page of the most recent chapter of super "maybe the strongest warrior emerged elsewhere in our universe" this could very well be him referring to beast gohan awakening. It's complicated but this could explain it. Please let me know your thoughts

I think that the theory that you gave is the one that will come true and if it does than it will be very exciting to see piccolo and Gohan use their new power against Moro
The film went into production shortly after Dragon Ball Super Broly, so some things seem so wrong, like Piccolo saying that Gamma 1 and 2 seem to be as strong as Goku and Vegeta, and Gohan saying that maybe not even Goku and Vegeta could defeat Cell Max.
Toyotaro is making his own version of the movie adapted to take place after the Granola Survivor Saga, and then not only will we have the real power levels of Gamma 1 and 2, Cell Max, Orange Piccolo and mainly Beast Gohan.
Goten and Trunks are pretty much younger in the moro manga, so obviously dbssh is probably taking place after the granolah to moro arc

I kind of like to look at it, like the manga is the main story, and the animes/movies are more like theatrical adaptations of the story in the manga. So somethings are added, somethings are taken out, but the story is essentially the same with the Manga being the foundation.

It's very weird because the anime and manga follow two entirely different continuities. This is the first time in Dragon Ball history where the manga and anime haven't been running alongside each other, so we've hit a spot where stories could be swapped out and slightly changed to better fit a specific continuity.

But for the purpose of continuity for the anime they could easily repurpose/retcon those details in the anime and age everyone up. Trunks, Goten, and Pan all have zero significance in the arcs.
I think the moro and granola arcs will happen after the events of dbs sh if both of those arcs are to be animated. It doesn't really change that much other than the fact Gohan and Piccolo will be stronger and maybe Broly could be involved. So I think they'll try to make the moro and granola arcs happen later , which isn't really that big of a deal

I personally think they're leaving it open for speculation. They want fans to make theories. Hence why they gave Goku and Vegeta a battle just with strength and wits. Could've went all out and used UI Goku and UE Vegeta for that battle but this is just my take

Well in the Movie Goku Stated Broly is on beerus Planet to be Save from Frieza in my Mind that means its After Granolah because Black Frieza arrived. but that just might be me and they trained Broly so they are Prepping for Black Frieza (sry i am still laughing even when i write the name XD)
Dragonball Super Superhero comes before Granolah, but I'm not sure about Moro. I say this because Vegeta has the destruction ear ring during Granolah, but he isn't wearing it in Superhero, meaning he wouldn't have it. So, Granola comes after Super Hero.
Actually, the timeline has been cleared up since the movie was released. It takes place after both Moro and Granolah. Vegeta not wearing that earring just means he didn’t want to be wearing it that day, I guess

ok i think i know how this works out, super ends in age 780 and end of z takes place in age 784, broly probably takes place between late age 780- age 781 as goten and trunks dont look older like in super hero(they were around 13-14 years old which would make them about 15-17 during super hero),pan was born in age 779,meaning at this point in time,she'd be 1-2 years old, moro is said to take place after broly but it hasnt been directly stated if its after super hero, BUT, first off,we know granolah takes place pretty much right after moro, and judging by how we dont see broly on beerus's planet in the manga but in super hero we do, both those arcs likely happen before that, and super hero itself should be around age 782- age 783(if 783,then has to be before pan's 4th birthday as she is 3 years old in the film)
thus, the timeline is:- Super(From Age 778-780)> Super Broly(Age 780/781)> Moro & Granolah(Age 781)> Super Hero(Age 782/783[before pan's 4th birthday])

Officially confirmed? No it hasn't been, people just assume it takes place after because the movie is set right before the End of Z and we see Pan older than how old she was in the Moro and Granolah Arcs.
Which is why it's a weird grey area, because the anime and manga follow two different continuities. It's possible for the Super Hero movie to take place after Granolah in the manga, but in the anime, it's possible that those two arcs will get adapted and told differently so then they can take place after Super Hero.

Makes more sense since than they could all team up against freeza since everybody would be training for that confrontation and if they want Gohan to be the strongest he might end up finishing off freeza in the end. It wouldn't make sense for gohan and picollo to get a new form after which he realises why he should train continuously (after his daughter got kidnapped) to then just toss that to the side and make Vegeta and Goku steal the show again. Also it makes sense that Goku and Vegeta would want to hide broly from freeza since he turned black so that he wouldn't kill him

Until it passes over, it’s entirely possible for them to still include the End of Z. It’ll ALWAYS be part of the original manga canon, but they could easily tweak things and retell it so it can fit in Super

All I have to say for this suggestion is “Yikes” the anime writers would screw up this idea so badly, not to mention how confused the fans would get. A lot of TH-camrs have this problem, they’ll run with an idea that’s inherently flawed, but they don’t know it’s flawed cause they don’t get feedback on it until a month after they record it. It’s simple. Broly > Superhero > Moro and Granolah. It really doesn’t matter what happened in the manga. They’re setting it so that Goku and Vegeta have their full ultimate forms for the conclusion of Super, which they’ll have at the end of the Moro arc.
Edit: it’s also heavily implied by context, that not much time has passed since Broly.
That logic is flawed since Gohan did not use his beast transformation against Moro. Moro defeated mystic gohan.

At this point, they’re starved for material so there’s no way they leave it out of the anime. They’re also not going to stop the momentum that they have now from Broly to Superhero. It goes broly-moro as we saw gohan fight but not have beast form but did retain training from top. Then it goes granolah as peace on earth occurs and gohan again doesnt train. Then immediately following granolah arc is Goku and vegetas Mastery training with broly that was clearly after they were outclassed by frieza hence vegetas trying to become better im new ways and while that training is happening dbs hero occurs so Broly-moro-granoloah-hero
