It's not full screen. The start up looks just like his dash animation. Gropise is using that to his advantage to cover when he starts the 5M. You know the concept of a safe jump right? He's doing something extremely similar to that except with a dash. It's actually brilliant.
@@strikermodel It is full screen. It will hit an opponent standing the entire screen away. For the last three patches they've made it travel further and with the one today it's supposed to somehow go even further beyond. I'm not saying Gropis isn't doing something with it, but it is a full screen attack. It behaves like Beerus 2M where it isn't active until it's in range of you and then it plays the normal startup and becomes active. It will eventually whiff at the end of the animation and it does look like the running animation, but pressing 5M once will send Frieza fullscreen towards the opponent.
