I forgot to say the T100 was developped about the dimensions of the biggest tyres avalaibles in the world at this moment. And the weight calculated to not be more excessive than the camel's foot.
Berliet built a couple of very good military trucks. Some of these trucks were so good that instead of selling or parting them, they are being fully rebuilt and updated (like the GBC 8KT).
My favourite French trucks are the Saviem and Berliet, they had a reputation for quality and reliability. The Russians made some big trucks too, mainly for military applications, Ural, and Zil to name a couple. Great video, thank you.😊

Fun fact: the Berliett PR100 bus license was bought by Jelcz from Polish People's Republic in 1972. Various iterations of the Jelcz PR110 (modified PR100) model after many alterations were hugely popular in Polish cities until the end of the 90s
I know someone who has the smaller version, just the tires are as tall as me, he takes it out on a drive once a year and it takes both lane on a two way street, it's a beast but is dwarfed compared to the T100. My dad told me how as a teen he saw the one that toured France tall as a 2 story building, it's a sight he never forgot.

@@-aid4084 this one actually put emphasis on words and was more natural than usual. Really weird. Almost like it's the guy who's voice was used for ai. I also didn't notice any mispronunciation.
It's called T100 because it weights a maximum of 100 metric tons fully loaded (60 tons empty, 40 tons of load). 600 and 700 on the grill is the horsepower of the engine, it was 600HP originally then upgraded to 700HP.
4.7 meter high and 5 meters wide.. That is about the same size as the pea harwesters we have here. And yea.. they drive on the road. I got head to head on one of thsoe on a 7 meter road. he was all the way out with the wheels on the other side, and i still had to go half car outside of the roads on my side.

Cummins baby!
Renault 5 turbo for size comparison. ?
where is the restored truck now? which museum?
At the Berliet Fondation near Lyon, France
and that's why I love the oil industry
What about the Pacific trucks used in Africa?
Imagine the fuel consumption
The 22hp Panhard engine was responsible for transporting the truck to a repair location in an emergency situation? Highly unlikely...
Would make nice camper out of it.
The 963 should be added to snowrunner
