A wonderful guitar. So wonderful, it smells like chocolate when you open the case. Mine had that smell brand new in 2012, and still has it to this day.
I picked this up in the store and “had” to bring it home. It gets played way more than my Taylor 816-ce. The tone and playability is astounding. Even now every time I pick it up it makes me smile.
I got mine in Late November after a long long wait here in Newfoundland Canada because of the covid-19 . I love love this guitar.I am . 62 year old that feels like a boy with this awesome creation. Please stay safe and be well.
@@christopherlawrie7489 I loie in Channel Port-aux-Basques NL but I was born in St Johns NL . I am so loving this instrument sir. I have it in my hands every chance i get.
@@erinjoy8338 mine is a long story but to make it short after waiting almost a year from a closer dealer but different name. When i contacted Long & McQuade in ST Johns NL They had sold one a month before i contacted them and had another one on order which i nabbed right away and paid on .and was mine in a couple months as soon as they received it. They were awesome
This model was my first “expensive guitar” I ever purchased. It’s the one that still is with me and is my number 1 acoustic over other taylors that cost 3 and 4 times more. It just feels and sounds perfect
You prolly dont give a damn but does someone know a tool to log back into an Instagram account..? I somehow lost the account password. I appreciate any tricks you can offer me
You left one thing out when talking about how great this guitar is, and that is: It smells really great. I love to take it out of the case and smell it, makes me happy. Then playing it is the icing.
Had a d35. Best guitar ive ever played. Unfortunately due to financial struggles it had to go. Anyway picked up this 00015m recently and was blown away. I ve always liked the comfortability of these orchestra models but never wanted to sacrifice the boom of a dread. But man my jaw dropped so in my near future hopefully this guy will come home with me. Especially since its half the price of a new d35. Great video btw.
Hands down the best look at and discussion regarding this guitar. All the playing was smooth and showcased every talking point that was made. On top of that, the topics of discussion were spot on for an overview of this guitar because you explained the qualities of the timbre from the wood and again, you showed us those words in action. Thank you for a great look at this guitar!
Thanks for watching the video, Luke! We appreciate your kind words. Please let us know if we can help in any way in your guitar playing journey! Feel free to call us at 412-343-5299 any time!
My family’s roots are in Chambersberg, don’t know if that’s a U or e on the berg, that’s not the point. You are the only one who dug into this guitar and got what these Martin’s are about so Bravo PA
Thanks, Joe. Really helped me start to think clearly about how to choose a Martin smaller and less pricey than my J40 but still rich in tone and satisfying to play. Also love its stripped down look and simplicity.
Great video, Thank you. Just got my 00015m Martin. You got to praise Martin for the perfection of the instrument. This is my 4th guitar, Non of the old one looked, feel and sound like the Martin. it just sings...
Hey I switched genre of playing as such and am hunting out a decent priced guitar for trying some bluegrass (only at home) Would you recommend? Thanks for the videos, I love them! Watching from Ireland 🇮🇪
Hi, i have a question , i want to buy this beautiful guitar , it sounds so good ...but my problem is : is there a way to put a pickup on without piercing a hole in ??? I saw theres is a version with already one in the 000-15me but it seems to be a very rare version... And not a lot for sale... So is there a piezzo or something that it sounds good
I see that it doesn’t have strap buttons on it would installing strap buttons and putting electronics in it mess with the integrity of the sound acoustically?
In my experience, no. It’s not enough of a change to be noticeable. Now it depends on what electronics you put it. I always opt for one with soundhole controls for that reason.
I would need a 000 SM, short scale 12 fret. I tried one of these compared to a 0000-28 short scale which was easier for me to play. Still dreaming about an all mahogany Nice demo, Joe. Thanks
My son plays a lot of 80s big hair acoustic rock ballads like Bon Jovi dead or alive as well as oldies like Doobie Bros Long Train Running, carole king it's too late. Which martin do u suggest? He loves a lot of natural sustain with sparkly highs and boomy bass / V shaped sound signature.

Wayne, I am hoping to buy one in Pittsburgh PA tomorrow. Are you still loving this instrument? You do not happen to live in St. Lawrence?

It has this sweet warm velvety tone that other more expensive guitars don’t have. It’s in its own category.
I agree with you 100% but i don't have Taylors to compare . I love this guitar and always want to be playing it . Not in the case much i tell ya :)
Been there and done that as well! Got rid of my 3000$ taylor, went with a half the price martin and never looked back!

Which is the best mahogany martin to go for if you want a dull bass sounding guitar

Breedlove Concert Copper CE.
Under $700
Gibson j45
Martin D18
D-28 is the most versatile version.....Beatles, Neil Young, Bob Dylan. I have a HD-28 which has little more power.
The 00015 M over the d-15 seems much more defined and balanced, missing nothing in bass mids and trebles!
Is this similar to the one which John Frusciante owns ???
Is it made in the USA or Mexico
Made in the US!
Overall, the best Martin there is.
Let’s not get carried away.
Woow woow 😍💋 💝💖❤️
